So impressed that I also hired them to repaint my entire house and do some other needed repairs. I will hire them again should the need arise. I highly recommend this company

  The House: a 35 year old, tri-level townhouse that had been painted twice - once when it was built, and again shortly after I bought it 10 years ago. The Need: an honest, through inspection of the exterior - from top to bottom - to identify any repairs that needed to be done, in addition to the painting. The Hunt for a "Painter": I read all the reviews on Angie's List, and looked at photographs posted on Facebook of different projected completed by Phillips Hoover. I also contacted the BBB. ALL the reports were glowing. So I made the call. Robert Phillips and I talked for 30 minutes or so and set up a date for his crew to go to the house and give it a once-over. The Inspection: Robert Phillips and his crew did a through inspection of the exterior of the house before developing the estimate. Once the estimate was ready, Mr. Phillips and I met so he could explain what needed to be done and approximately how long it would take to complete. It was a match. The Work: WOW! The crew was at the house every morning at 8, and I got an update on the work every afternoon. Since I run an agency, most of our communications were by email and/or cell, which only speaks to the level of professionalism of Mr. Phillips and his crew. I loved arriving home each day to see what had been completed. The work was completed exactly as described, and a final walk-through was done prior to wrapping-up. At that time, Mr. Phillips identified several areas that required touch ups, which his crew did before the final payment way made. The place looks brand new. And, yes, all the holiday gifts are going in the "kitty" to pay for the next project - rehabbing the inside of my house. I look forward to working with Robert Phillips and his folks again in the coming year

  The end result is great. The new door is beautiful inside and, and the walls and brick work were done perfectly. The estimate was more than fair, and covered all aspects of the job. The people doing the work were professional and respectful, and cleaned the area each day before they left. Robert Phillips and his assistant, Sammy Lopez were on hand for all phases of the job to oversee, schedule the phases, and to inspect the quality of each phase. During the course of this job, a major problem was revealed in the gas lines of my house. This problem was pre-existing due to the age of my house and poor original construction. What could have been a nightmare was handled efficiently and knowledgeably by Robert. He had competent plumbers on the spot, and during the course of attempting to locate the leaks, conferred with them each step of the way, making the best decision as to what to do next. Robert kept me informed of every aspect of the process of locating and repairing the gas leaks. Each decision was based on safety and cost effficiency. The problems were located and repaired, the lines were tested and approved, and what could have been a very costly, dangerous situation was handled quickly, safely, and at a minimum cost to me both in terms of money and inconvenience. I highly recommend this company. My experiences with them have been excellent

  This older home (still) requires a lot of work, but the kitchen was in especially bad shape. Now it looks (and works) great. Phillips Hoover was prompt about setting up a visit for an estimate, and the pricing on their proposal was in line with costs I had researched for such a project. Still, I figured that price would increase substantially before it was all said and done, because of the problems that always pop up when working on a 100-year-old home. Robert Phillips (who handles the remodeling side of the business), however, did a fantastic job anticipating what would need to be done and working with me to keep costs down wherever we could. The work itself turned out great. I had some notions about how I wanted the kitchen to look and operate, but Robert took our discussions and ran with them. He and his team came up with great solutions for the limited space, and his idea to accentuate the fact that the kitchen had been extended by using a faux brick and wooden beam along the remnants of the old exterior turned an unsightly vestige into the centerpiece of the kitchen -- and now it holds the whole room together. Throughout the job, Phillips Hoover really respected the character of the home, worked hard to incorporate my ideas and offered great suggestions along the way. Robert's engagement in the project and passion for his work has been extraordinary in my experience with contractors. The project took a few weeks longer than originally anticipated for reasons outside Phillips Hoover's control, but Robert and his crew kept me continually updated on the progress and delays and worked hard to make up lost time. I have several other improvements I'd like to make to the house in the coming years, and I will definitely be calling Phillips Hoover to help out

  Ramirez Landscaping was very fast, professional and made my front yard beautiful. They are very responsive to phone calls and kept me up-to-date on the status of the work being done. They helped me select all the details (rock color, style of brick, etc) for my front yard. This was especially helpful since I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted. After the work was done, they cleaned up all debris...both from my yard and my neighbors since I had a short rock ball built between my house and my neighbors. I highly recommend Ramirez Landscaping and will be using them again in the future

  Have trouble in El Paso with contractors showing up when they say; not so with Mr. Ramirez. He is always on time and does what he says he will do. I have a large back yard surrounded by pine trees that drop a lot of litter during the hotter weeks. Having experience with this company in the past, asked Mr Ramirez for options to make yard maintenance easier for me after becoming severely disabled in the Army. Once we agreed to a plan, I decided to hire him. He sent over a crew to remove large landscaping rocks around my yard perimeter, remove a section of lawn (I wanted a smaller lawn for my dogs), installed plastic around cleared areas, laid a layer of smaller gravel (could have used more) that has proved to be MUCH easier to clear of pine needles. They also built a brick border around the new lawn area. The crew that did the work was always on time, very friendly and professional. Mr Ramirez showed up occasionally as expected to check on the work and answer questions

  The workers showed up as planned and worked steadily for several days. I was told this is how they work, avoiding flitting from one job and back to another job. They performed the work well and took more than ordinary care. In order to get their equipment in, they tore out a gate and part of the rock wall, then rebuilt everything back. The gate, which had been sticking and hard to close, worked better after they finished than it ever had. They are likely not the cheapest in the initial bid nor on some additions to the job (the added mortaring and putting in paving stones under the kids' playhouse) but they do do quality work and tend not to cut corners

  I found the company name on Angie's List. I called Mr. Rivas and he came out the next day to give me an estimate, explaining everything they would do, and the amount of time it would take. His estimate was reasonable and Mr. Rivas was very professional. He gave me a date and time and was here when scheduled. They cleaned up and left everything spotless. I am most pleased with his work and would highly recommend his company to anyone needing rock wall repair

  The owner was very professional about setting up a time to come out to look at the proposed job. He took the time to write up a formal quote and explain all the details. Quote seemed very fair for the amount of work to be done. The day of the job, company was very punctual and showed up right when they said they would. Owner was on sight working with the crew to complete the job. When job was completed all debris were removed and backyard was cleaned. Owner and crew were very polite and professional throughout the entire job
