Mark's Driveway and Parking Lot Maintenance
I spoke to Mr. Stevens on the phone and we was very nice and said he would come to provide an estimate. Then he called back and said it was too small a job to come out for an estimate, which I agreed. He said he would be out to perform the work on Sunday. He never came out. I called him on Wednesday and left a message. Now, on Thursday, I've still not heard from him or know why he wasn't out on Sunday as planned.

Got an estimate on the same day I called. Scheduled the work for a Thursday and they called Wednesday to ask if they could come a day earlier due to space in the schedule and possible rain the next day. Mike and his partner came out, cleaned off the driveway with a blower and a broom, heated the crack filler, applied it, then sprayed sealer on the driveway and brushed it on by hand with a broom. The result was a nice, even finish with no overspray, except for a glob on the street that was possibly from the crack sealer hose being disconnected. Mike advised me to wait about 3 years to re-seal, as doing it more often would result in a more cracked appearance and not extend the life of the driveway. The whole job took about 45 minutes. There is a small indent in the driveway that is collecting water that was there prior to this work being done; I don't know if they could have done anything about that.

Overall a good job. Missed one crack I thought was significant, but came out the next day and took care of it. It took couple of days and a few phone messages to get the appointment set up. The weather delayed the job but he called to reschedule. First good day got the job done!

The quality of the work was very bad, I'll give them a one star for their customer service I have to call them back three times to fix their mistakes and they had to called me rude because they mentioned that I call every week to fix the mistakes which is not true. They're very deceptive on the prices they gave me a price and when the job is all done they added another thousand dollars on the price if I want another job they will tell you it on the end of the project.

We had a very positive experience with Robert and the rest of the crew. After the price was agreed upon, the crew came promptly when scheduled with professional equipment. There was an minor issue initially but was more of a misunderstanding on both sides (myself included). Once this issue was cleared up, Robert and the crew were the utmost professionals and actually did more work then was originally contracted without hitting us with an additional cost. Furthermore, Robert followed up with me on the service, and made sure I was happy with the job before collecting on the agreed upon price. We will definitely be using them for there seal coating maintenance program.

Carl Johnson inspected the old driveway, recommended that I replace my retaining wall supporting the driveway, and gave me an estimate for replacing the asphalt driveway. After I had the retaining wall replaced, I called Carl and reported such, and told I wanted his company to asphalt my driveway. The following Monday, Allied came out and removed the old asphalt and replaced it with new asphalt. They did a great job, made the changes in the layout I requested, cleaned up, put up warning tape and left, ALL IN ONE DAY!

After getting off to a rocky start (see previous review dated 5/27/2016)the owner of Action Asphalt came to see me in person to discuss the communication issues that I experienced with his team. Although I contracted with someone else to install my asphalt driveway, I decided to give Action Asphalt a second chance and allowed them to perform the sealcoating once the driveway had time to cure. They were very responsive to my needs to have the service performed at a time that was convenient for me. The crew showed up on the scheduled day and time as expected and completed their work in a professional manner. The quality of their work was excellent and I am pleased with how the driveway looks after the sealcoating. I will certainly consider using Action Asphalt for any of my future driveway maintenance needs.*

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. We put a deposit down with this company last year, they didn't get to us in time before winter so we had to wait until spring. Then it took months for them to come do the work. We had a hard time getting a response, they wouldn't give us a date, we literally waited months. I was so frustrated I wanted to use a different company but we were stuck with them since we didn't want to lose our deposit. Once they finally did the work it was terrible quality. The driveway is uneven with obvious holes. They came once to fix it, admitting there had been something wrong with one of their machines that caused the issue but we saw no difference after they left. We've been waiting for them to come again so we can sealcoat before winter and Pat, the owner, will once again not return our calls. We call numerous times a week with absolutely no response. At this point I've tried just paying someone else to fix it but other companies want to fix someone else's mess. I'm worried we won't be able to sealcoat before the snow comes and our driveway, that we spent a lot of money on, will get ruined. At this point this company is holding us in limbo and there is nothing we can do about it. Please save yourself a headache and go through a different company.

Recent Review: KCA performed excellent work. The crew showed up on the first day, worked with us on the lines, and then proceeded to excavate (new areas) and level existing gravel drive. The next day the team arrived and laid the multiple layers of asphalt. Throughout the processes the crew provided answers to all our questions, the owner was available to discuss any questions I had. The end result was amazing and better then we could have hoped. My wife and I highly recommend KCA due to their quality, cost, and service.

Recent Review: I meet with Brian and he sold me, he said he would treat it as if it was his driveway, that sounded to me like he cared. When they started my demo the company doing the job was Bowen paving, they did the whole job without anyone from Options even checking on the job at any point. They did a very nice job. I was not aware that it was to be subbed out. I would not use Options again or recommend them. I'm happy with the final outcome but not with the miscommunication. Maybe if I was aware that they were not doing the job this review would be different.

Recent Review: excellent (the highest rating a person can give). dave is an expert in his field. i had already met over 12 contractors. he was the best contractor. he exceeds the others in: being honest, giving 110%, answering questions, using quality material (i had done research on shingles. the shingles he uses r premium shingles. they received great reviews and ratings). at a very good price, not being pushy at all, not trying to trick me into signing anything. i did not catch him in any lie. i caught all the other contractors in a lie. he is very patient and has a great personality. he is helping me and not saying "i'll only help u if u sign me up as ur contractor". i couldn't even get a quote from a few contractors. they said "insurance will cover it all. u don't need a quote. lets get going. sign our contract/agreement". i found the industry to be disgusting until i met dave. oh yea, i was quoted from other contractors 1200 to 1600 for basic seamless gutters. when dave told me the price for gutters i was in shock. he was surprised i was in shock. his price was drastically lower. i told him what the other's wanted to charge me. it is great to have the owner of the company do the evaluation. i've had sales reps come out for an evaluation. the owner has done the work himself. he knows a ton more than a sales rep. some companies the owners did come out. i caught them in at least one lie. dave did NOT lie to me. i'm so lucky that i found him. have him be ur first phone call. i guarantee u that u will not be disappointed in any fashion. i wish i was a member of angie's list. it would of saved me a ton of grief.

Recent Review: Generally, they job they did was fine but there was a problem with the interface between front of garage concrete extension and the asphalt. I told the owner this and he said he'd come back at end of season and seal the interface. The reason for the problem was that they did not pack in the dirt prior to paving leaving an air hole that broke the interface. I called a couple of times but Mr. Jones never called and it seemed that he could care less as he had "moved on".

Anthony prepped the driveway better any any other contractor. And completed job efficiently, promptly, and with a superior finish. We are a repeat customer because of the extraordinary work completed one year ago filling in asphalt cracks. Usually, other contractors filling in asphalt cracks only lasts a season. Speaking from experience, Anthony's work definitely outlasts other companies.
