I had a very positive experience and would recommend B & W Plumbing, and specifically Plumber Dave, to anyone. The previous home owner had installed an electric tankless water heater. It developed a leak and I had trouble finding a plumbing contractor to service it. (Most plumbers only work on gas tankless heaters. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing tried to convince we to replace the whole system rather than admit they couldn't perform a simple repair.) The receptionist at B & W was very helpful and assisted me in the procurement of a replacement part. I felt I got a good value.

I had an older water heater and wanted to replace it before it completely died at an inconvenient time. I was interested in the tankless water heater and Hope Plumbing was able to take out the old tank water heater and install the tankless. It was a little more complicated because of the required venting, but Hope Plumbing did a good job, finished up in one day and cleaned up after themselves. I'd recommend them again.

Generally, all went smoothly. Was a bit pricier than we had budgeted and electrical portion was a bit of a snag. However, overall very pleased with responsiveness, personnel, equipment, professionalism, work performed and cleanup. Cost of service quoted below is actually equipment and labor. They scheduled the work on a Sunday then on that Sunday the plumber called to say he couldn't do tankless repairs on a Sunday without tech support which was closed on Sundays! So why did they schedule it on a Sunday???

They sent out their tankless water heater specialist. In under an hour he diagnosed the unit, discovered error codes and fixed the problem. They were prompt to appointment, explained options for replacement, and scheduled installation around our very restrictive/busy schedule. Easy to work with on financing. Great price on unit according to several other providers.

It was expensive. It was over $200. I can't remember the exact amount, but I was surprised. They were here a couple of hours. I was pleased with them. I thought they were a little high in cost but I don't know what the going rate is for that type of thing so it's had to judge.

Recent Review: After having multiple plumber's come out and provide quotes, Carter's ended up having the best prices and were honestly, the most professional, seemed the most knowledgeable and were very courteous. The initial consultation by Joedy went very well. I knew we likely needed a new water heater due to the leak at the bottom of our current 50 gallon unit, but asked about multiple options around replacement. We ended up getting a new tankless unit instead of replacing what we had. I also went ahead and worked with them to repipe the room that contained the water heater (it was a mess) and to add in cold and hot water hookups for our washer which was previously in another room. During the installation, they determined that during the transition to city water, the previous owners had hooked up the water softener backwards and that it may need replaced. It explained why it didn't work all that well but we never bothered to have it looked at. They offered to replace it if we wanted to or to go ahead and hook the existing unit up correctly to see if it would still work as we wouldn't know until it was. There was no pressure to replace, they were simply providing an few options should we want to replace it. In the end, we did go ahead and decided to replace it. They had it out there same day and finished everything that day. I hated being the scope creep customer (shame on me I know), but I ended up asking about if they could add in the drain for the washer as well, something I thought would be a simple task. I figured we are doing everything else in that room, might as well knock it all out. It turned out to be a little more involved, but they were able to fit it in that day without any issue. That night, my wife noticed that I had them put in the outdoor faucet drain behind the spot for the washer. I called them the next day explaining I had messed up and approved the spigot in the wrong spot. They came back out that day and moved it to a more accessible location. Lastly, I was impressed with how quickly everything happened. I had initially called on a Monday afternoon. I had a quote on Tuesday. I didn't call back until Wednesday to confirm we were going ahead with the service. We had a team out on Thursday to complete the work.

Recent Review: The quote that we were given was done by the same individuals that did the installation. They spend quite a bit of time figuring out what was needed for the job. Once they arrived for the install, they got right to work since they already knew what needed to be done. We could not be happier with the work that was performed and with the installers. They were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. I would unequivocally use LE Isley for any future work that we need done.

Tankless water heaters are all the rage. The technology has been around for years outside the U.S. but it's only gained popularity recently here. The biggest factor for our choosing tankless was space considerations. The old 50 gal heater was in a tight space which made going with a new larger tank heater impractical, so we went with tankless. Here's why I mention this. If you ask a plumber to quote you a tankless heater, you will get estimates all over the place. Be careful who you choose. Michael Beltrami is a good choice.
