Excellent work , on time and beautiful end result resodding our lawn! Also had them install veneer cobblestone on a very rough cinder block retaining wall. Mr. Silva did a fabulous job on our wall. He was meticulous, precise, and well skilled at his craft. With the wall complete and the sod in, our lawn looks amazing! We highly recommend Teo's Landscaping for your special projects!

I highly recommend LIJA Masonry. They built a cinderblock retaining wall with footings, rebar and concrete in the cells. This replaced a rock wall that partially collapsed due to very heavy rains. The wall is behind a fence and protects a pool. Outside the fence is a wet weather creek. Heavy rains caused the existing rock wall to partially collapse. The goal was to build a retaining wall that will not fail. The wall that LIJA built is as solid as the rock of Gibralter. Israel was very easy to work with and tolerated lots of questions. His crew, while not speaking good English, was very hard working and competent. Israel monitored the job well. Since we has some cinder blocks left after the wall they built steps down to the the base of the creek which replaced a very difficult rock path. Overall, I have no complaints and strongly recommend LIJA. I would certainly not hesitate to use them again.

It went smoothly. They came in, did what they needed to. Cleaned up the site before and after they started and completed work. I love the way the wall looks around my garden bed and would definitely hire again if another project comes up

Engineer showed up on time. Spent adequate time surveying and inspecting the wall. Took detailed pictures. Provided prompt report with remedial measures to extend the longevity of the wall. Great job.

Mike and his team did a great job especially with the rock wall. His team had to design two walls one on each side of a recently poured and stamped concrete patio. The wall had to end up level with the top of the patio. There was about a 3 - 4 foot difference in elevation from the top of the patio to the other end of one the two walls. Mike's team did a fantastic job at tiering the wall so that the wall was at an even height relative to the surounding landscape along the length of the wall. The wall curved in a couple of places on each side of the patio and it was capped with cap stones for a beautiful finish. The wall was backfilled with planting dirt so that they could install multiple flowering plants and some shrubs that have all survived the brutal summer and which began flowering only a couple of weeks after installation. We are very pleased with the work that Mike and his team did on this job. Mike is a pleasure to work with and goes above and beyond to insure the finished product meets the customer's expectations. I would definitely hire this business again for future landscaping and hardscaping.

I called Phil for an initial quote on the retaining wall at the top of my driveway and while he was there asked about a quote on the retaining wall in the back yard. We agreed on the quote for both walls and Phil told me that it would take a couple of days to repair. He and his crew were out within a week.The wall at the top of the driveway was replaced along with the stone pavers. The wall in the backyard had to be torn down on one half, a drainage pipe installed and new dirt added. Phil and his crew did an exceptional job. They were punctual, hard working, and kept me informed throughout the process. They also cleaned up and you couldn't tell they had been there. I think the retaining walls look better than when they were initially installed by another company. Thanks again to Phil and his crew!

Sudlow Concrete was great. Price was very reasonable. Job was done on time and very professional. This was the second time I hired Sudlow concrete and I would use them again in the future and refer Sudlow to friends and family.

The entire project went very well. Phil Polak provided detailed descriptions and a sketch of everything that would be done. He also explained what to expect, including the materials used ,who would perform the labor, everything involved in taking down the existing walls, preparing the site for the new walls, installation of the walls, and clean-up. Phil walked me through a minor misunderstanding I had about the second wall and made a change to ensure that I was happy with the final results. I am very pleased with this project.

It started with a retaining wall under our patio room. The wall has been leaning outward over the years (scary) since it is under a room in our house. I got a few bids and not only did I like Eric the best (he made me feel like this was an easily doable job vs. a "big problem" like a competitor made it sound. Turns out the wall was not built exactly right so they dug it out and rebuilt it correctly. We were so happy that I decided to ask Eric about some other unsightly areas that we weren't sure what to do with. He immediately suggested some excellent solutions (fieldstone patio extension and knee walls). So we went ahead with it and are thrilled with the result. The photos (some before and after) are not the best but hopefully you can see the scope of work. Lots of labor involved.

The front of my lot was a huge mess. The previous owners had installed a railroad tie wall, which was rotting. Also, my sewer line was replaced in 2008, and the excavation caused a huge mess. I decided to replace the retaining wall and called Frazier. They came out, took a look, and gave a quote. Their estimate for a granite wall actually wasn't much more than it would have cost to build the wall out of railroad ties again, and the cost of the granite wall was much lower than the estimates I received for concrete or decorative block walls. I live in the Druid Hills historic district, so I had to get a certificate of appropriateness. It took me several months to get everything together, but once I received the certificate, I called Frazier and set up the work. I had the area excavated by a different company (Frazier doesn't do excavation), and then Frazier built the wall. They were very careful to build it exactly according to the specifications of my certificate of appropriateness, and the finished product is beautiful.

Cantsink was not the least expensive vendor but one of very few with the expertise and equipment to do this job! It is hard to get a commercial vendor to take on a residential job, but they were great to work with. This job took well over a month to complete. It included removing and re-installing/welding the wrought-iron fence, a stairway to the bottom of the wall, drainage and all the things that go with building an engineered wall. They hauled away all of the old timber and built a solid wall that we are very happy with. Their crews were onsite every morning they said they would be there. We had cell phone numbers for the foreman and salesman and they would call or text with updates, times, needs, questions -- communications were excellent. I'll also say, this crew had access to my garage, tools, equipment and never touched a thing that I didn't offer. I would use them again in a minute! I'd also like to add, that during the hurricane Irma impact on Atlanta, we had a large sweetgum tree fall from the creekside onto the wall and our house. This wall is 100% supporting that tree and stopped it from crashing through our bedroom with minimal damage to the wall! The fence is destroyed but it proves how solid that wall is!
