The job was completed quickly, which I appreciate because it was supposed to rain the next day, and they sent me several pics of my new roof. I reached out to several roofing companies to fix a frustrating leak in our garage roof which was preventing us from actually being able to use the interior of our garage. We weren't really sure where to start but started exploring "flat roof repair" and found Complete Roofing Solutions. The owner, Chris responded the next day to my website inquiry with a date for an estimate which was completed by Luis a couple of days later. We were impressed at how thoughtfully he explored the problem and offered a couple of options to address it. We received the written estimate from Chris quickly and decided to move forward with the more thorough option to cover the flat roof with TPO and install new flashing so that we wouldn't have to deal with more issues down the road. We felt the price was very fair. Luis and his crew arrived promptly and he had clearly thought through the installation (it was a bit tricky in some areas). We were really impressed with the professionalism and thoughtful problem-solving. They really went above and beyond to seal any water penetration and make sure every trouble spot was addressed. After the work was finished, the area was left completely clean. And we can attest to the quality of the work as the very next morning we had a major downpour. The garage was dry for the first time since we've owned the house. We highly recommend Chris and his team and will contact them again for any other roofing issues down the road.

I was desperate. I had a leak in my roof on December 16, 2009 and water had come into my basement, two bedrooms and the living room. A big snow was predicted and I wanted the new roof right away. I got several estimates. Marvin (M G Construction) was the cheapest and he could do it before the snow. Marvin was very accommodating, easy to work with and did exactly what he said he would do. He completed the job at 5 pm on Friday December 19, 2009 and the big snowstorm (20 inches) began at 9 pm Friday night! I was thrilled to have the new roof! I asked him to come back two weeks later to check on the roof after the big snowstorm. He did and all was well. I would highly recommend him.

Marvin was extremely responsive to our request for a quote to have our flat roof that wraps around 2 sides of the house replaced. We knew it was causing interior water damage along one side of our house. His quote was thorough and professional and he answered our many additional questions. While it took a while between the time we signed the contract and when the work was actually done, that was due to weather and needing to find 2 days in a row without rain. When the weather finally cooperated, Marvin's team showed up promptly at 8am to begin work. They worked more than a full day trying to beat the evening rain to get the roof finished. It turns out much of our wood (deck, railing, plywood) was rotted and had to be replaced. The roof got its first big test the first night during a pretty substantial rainstorm - and it did great. Marvin's team was back on day 2 to finish everything up. We had one issue that developed that day - it turns out one of the workers hit interior electrical wiring with a nail when putting the flashing in that caused the electrical outlets in our bedroom to stop working. An electrician quickly figured out the problem and corrected it. When we told Marvin about it, he immediately offered to pay the electrician's bill. We were very pleased with Marvin and his team's work, their post-project worksite clean-up, professionalism and quality of the work. He's also local to our neighborhood and very familiar with the homes here, which we also appreciated.

My house had a built-up roof at the end of its serviceable life and an aging skylight. I consulted several roofers experienced in flat roofs and opted for Certified because Tom, the owner, and Steve were extremely knowledgeable and direct and the quote was competitive. They explained the options, recommended TPO, and explained its advantages over the alternatives. Tom and Steve were subsequently very patient with me, answering all of my questions over a couple calls and honoring the price in their original proposal despite my lengthy procrastination. While I didn’t observe the work itself, the estimate was a one-day project but the work team ended up coming back for a few hours on a second day, by which I infer they were attentive to doing the job right.

Certified Inc. replaced my 80 year old metal flat roof with a new TPO roof in May 2020. When getting an estimate from Certified, Tom explained the process and the recommended roofing system in great detail. He also responded to my follow up questions quickly. After doing some research on different roofing systems, I decided to go with the TPO roof for it's environmental friendly qualities. The team who replaced my roof worked quickly and did a good job of cleaning up after they completed the work. I received pictures of the roof after the work was completed. Every staff person I came into contact with was friendly. Only time will tell me the overall quality of the roof/work done. But I can say I am pleased with the process of getting my roof installed with Certified, Inc.

Working with Certified was a pleasure. As a Construction Manager by trade, I appreciate working with a firm that does what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it. Several years ago, I got onto Angies list and received quotes from the three of the best rated roofers. I picked Certified because they knew their business, they were professional, they responded timely, easy to work with and their price was reasonable. We did not need a roof right away and pushed off the work as other items on the house were pressing. This year we decided to get the roof done. All of the folks at Certified were great to work with. Chris is a laid back and personable guy who seems to really know what he is doing. We had a bit of a unique situation that he dealt with professionally and without any drama. His team worked hard (on a hot day) and their work looks good (as far as I can tell). We discussed the job at length and Chris was thoughtful about how to he went about replacing my roof and did it on the exact date I wanted him to. They made a huge mess in my backyard that they cleaned up in less than an hour. So far no issues with their work. Solid company, would definitely recommend.

This was as painless as a new roof could be. Tom is incredibly communicative and keeps you informed every step of the way. The crew arrived on time, kept to the schedule, and did a fantastic job. Their attention to detail with installing TPO on a flat room was very impressive.

Two weeks after moving into a new home, we discovered, after a heavy rain, that we had a leak in an older flat roof over a bedroom. Tom was extremely responsive and helpful, and even though they don't do roofing repairs (only full replacements), Tom sent his foreman over to patch our roof as an emergency short-term fix while we looked into options for having the old roof replaced with a TPC membrane. There have been heavy rains in the meantime, and the temporary patch has saved us from taking on more water and causing further damage to drywall and floors. We were impressed by Certified's professionalism and responsiveness, and we would have hired them to do the full roof replacement, but they had a 2-3 week backlog due to all the rainy weather, and we needed the work done sooner than that.

We bought our house last summer knowing the roof would likely need replaced in the near future. Unfortunately, that came quicker than we had hoped. We talked to three companies, including Augustine, and Augustine was definitely the best. They were never sales-pitchy, and even though the initial inspector was running late and didn't quite make the time window, he did communicate and made it out. He was respectful of our time, as well. Our flat roof needed to be completely replaced, and while Augustine's prices weren't the cheapest of our three companies, they offered a lot more and were willing to work to fit our budget. They put up with our constant questions and our changing minds with professionalism and grace. We had impossibly bad timing with weather as we started this in the middle of winter, so our installation date needed to be moved three different times (it has to be above a certain temperature and clear weather for the duration of the installation). Once it actually was nice enough to install the roof, the crew was able to finish in less than two days even though it was originally estimated to take up to three days. the crew cleaned up after each day, and our back porch was actually cleaner after they left than before they showed up. There were a few instances throughout the process where it was difficult to get in touch with someone at Augustine. I had to call a few times or send a few emails, but someone always eventually got back to me. This didn't hinder the project significantly in any way. Overall, Bill and his team are excellent, and we're very happy to have a roof that won't leak.
