I asked that the crew avoid trampling nearby plants, and not one was damaged. They have the equipment and skill to work in tight spaces, unlike others companies we've called.   Green Vista was great. Nico came out for an estimate and was very knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained to me what Green Vista would do. I ended up with three estimates. Green Vista was $200 more than my low estimate and $600 less than my high estimate. I had no doubt which company to hire. They called me one day in advance of the work being done. They showed up on time and conducted the cutting and removal efficiently. I was very pleased with he work they did

  Ben Rupert was instrumental in providing a landscape plan in several areas in my yard that sorely needed attention. In the back yard, a tree that had been there for over 30 years had to be removed, and it left a desolate area. The large electrical box in front of this area was even more apparent without the tree. When entering the yard from the gate, there was nothing that was welcoming. Ben came up with a plan, and his team implemented it beautifully. There were other areas in the yard that also needed attention, and with Ben’s help, each were improved more than I could have ever imagined. His team removed my existing paver walkway from the extension of the driveway, hauled away the debris, extended and buried the below grade downspout into the back of the property and installed concrete sand to level and finished the back walkway with Techo-Bloc Eva Pavers. He installed River Jack Stone so that the water from the downspout would help alleviate drainage issues. He created a landscape bed and installed a Forest Pansy Redbud tree and decorative grass around the electrical box. Ben also improved other landscape beds and installed Techo-Bloc Edge Stone around them. The beds were cleaned, and mulch was installed. And finally, in the front of the house Ben’s team removed the old Azalea bushes, installed new soil, and installed Camellia bushes and mulch to finish it.   We reach out to JL Tree Service every few years to assess our trees and prune as needed. During our last service in July, they removed a dead tree and pruned multiple others. They provided us a quote and stayed true to that quote. Their team was professional and left our yard in pristine shape.   The tree was massive and its removal necessitated use of a crane situated in a neighbor's driveway and a team of 4-5 men working all day. Their work was efficient, professional and completely satisfactory. The large branches were lowered by crane, and ground up and the extremely large logs/stump were hauled away on a truck. I must commend as well Bill, their supervisor, who was in regular communication with me over the entire two week period of contracting and preparation, including personally meeting with my skeptical neighbors to explain the necessity of using their property and reassuring them that extra care would be taken to avoid damage. I've used JL Tree in the past and they fully lived up to my expectations. I confidently recommend them to anyone needing tree removal services

  I am not one to throw around 5 star reviews, but JL Tree Service answered the bell on all accounts. I submitted my request for an estimate via their website, and the estimate was delivered to my inbox the very next day. After having received a higher estimate from a competitor a couple days later, I electronically signed and returned the estimate for JL to proceed with the work. THE VERY SAME DAY Janna replied letting me know that a crew was available the next day to perform the work. I had some concerns about my lawn being damaged with machinery because the trees were in my backyard and difficult to access. The crew did a masterful job of climbing both trees and lowering the limbs so that nothing was disturbed. Once finished, they did a fantastic job of cleaning up after themselves, you couldn't even tell they had been there. The stump grinder came today, and again, very thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Janna was fantastic and a pro through the whole process. Whenever I sent her an email with a question, her response was unbelievably fast. I will 100% use JL Tree Service again and will be recommending them to my friends and neighbors

  We had our small backyard almost completely remodeled: removing our old concrete driveway, regrading and installation of a stone block retaining wall, sod installation, extending an existing patio and installing techo block overlay on our existing steps and newly extended patio. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted and got quotes from three different contractors. We decided to go with Green Future, despite them not being the cheapest of the three, for a number of reasons. First, John Kattwinkel, our only real contact with the company prior to beginning the job, was extremely knowledgeable, flexible, and responsive. John sent us a detailed design and quote within a couple weeks of looking over the job site and talking with us. We made a number of changes he helped talk us through and was quick with changes to the design and quote. Second, Green Future was initially the most responsive of the contractors and their proposed timeline was the quickest (material delays upended this, but it was initially a factor for us). Third, we were particularly concerned about the health of the tree in the yard as it was relatively close to the proposed retaining wall. John talked through the standards for protecting a tree like that and even offered to bring in their arborist. Once work began the crew was friendly, arrived early every morning, and worked clean. The job progressed very quickly. And we were essentially finished within a week of starting the job. The finished product exceeded our expectations in every way. The installation is inch perfect. The materials that John suggested are beautiful. Our backyard is now the nicest part of our house. Our only complaint was the delay in beginning the project, which was substantial, due to issues sourcing materials -something that is common everywhere these days. The delay was unfortunate but not John's fault as I understand it. Highly recommend

  We had Hometown Tree Experts remove two large oak trees in our backyard and a large spruce tree from our front yard. We had multiple quotes, and they were the least expensive (by thousands of dollars for most of the other quotes we had). Not only that, their office staff were the most friendly of any tree company I've worked with. Two of the companies that gave us quotes told us they would need to bring a crane in, and Hometown did it without a crane and with incredible speed (they did the entire job in under 6 hours). Not only that, they managed to take down the massive oak trees while not damaging the trampoline, play structure, and garden, all of which were very close by. They also were just overall very friendly, and left the yard cleaner than it was when they got there. I hope I don't need to have any more trees removed, but if I do, I will definitely use this company again
