"Excellent experience from the initial quote to the completion of the project. Edwin, the owner, arrived on time for the initial quote and provided a detailed quote the same day. His team arrived on time for each of the workdays and the quality of services was excellent. For example, his team thoroughly patched the walls prior to painting, which led to high quality with the final paint job. The team replaced a number of recessed lights, swapped out other light fixtures, and repaired drywall in 2 days. We are very pleased with the overall professionalism of the team, their flexibility in increasing the scope of project to include painting, and even accommodating our schedule when one light fixture arrived later than expected. We would highly recommend Edwin and his team.

"Robert and his crew painted our 4,500 square foot home top to bottom, they also installed all new lights, bathroom fans, installed and finished drywall, enlarged doors and various carpentry projects included hanging ship lap on my vaulted ceiling. They can really do anything you throw at them. Robert’S crew work well together. They are very efficient and show up on time for work every day. It snowed heavily one morning and they still got here on time even though I was expecting them to be late. They have all the tools and supplies they need to complete almost any home project. I am very impressed with their work and I have contracted them for two projects so far. If I need any work completed in my house in the future I will be calling them.

"excellent - we lucked out with Sam and his crew for painting exterior of our house. We got their estimate several weeks before but undecided. He called back fortuitously on the last warm weekend of fall 2016. We had negotiated initial price, but turned out we wanted more work than original spec. Turned out we got everything we wanted and they had excellent recommendation to paint gutter and fix rotted out wood on porch and window sills. It was paint and repair throughout and they did a thorough job. They got custom color that we wanted, repaired porch, scraped old paint from sills and replaced rotted wood framing for side door to garage. They did excellent job in scraping and painting our patio french doors which had water damage - made them look new. Neighbors remarked what a good job they did...it made the house look like new. Sam had great follow-up and so glad he persisted in calling us back up. His crew are expert in painting and repair. Definitely would hire them to do other jobs again.

"Fairly priced, performed on time and with great skill. The Merrifield team has done three significant engagement at our church. On the first, they repainted several very large windows that had suffered water damage and repainted a wall section that had problems. No one in the congregation can tell which windows and wall were painted and which were not. On the second, they dealt with a room with three or four different colors of paint and plaster damaged by removing built-in shelves and cabinet. The result is like new. The last job asked them to deal with damaged trim and walls that had not been panted in years. We needed stop part way down a long hallway. They were able to match colors and feather the transition so as to produce a nearly invisible transition. The plaster in this area has a sandy texture. There repairs to some fairly large areas that look very good. We are already working on a fourth set of problems for Jeff's team to solve. Members who were previously strong advocates for DIY painting have become supporters of finding the funds to hire Merrifield because they can see the real difference it makes.
