Terrible!! I paid Bella Brothers 92% of the contractual amount, only owing $7,142.00, but they haven’t been back to my house to complete the work, when I signed the contract in November 2020, where Bella Brothers was to start in February 2021, but didn’t start until June 2021. Bella Brothers start the work, but doesn’t complete the work, unless they can swindle you into paying them more money, outside of the original agreement!! I now have to sue Bella Brothers, after I hire additional contractors to rebuild the framing for screening’s around the deck and under the flooring of the deck; siding and capping on and around the ceiling of the roof of the deck, and certain areas around the side of the deck; electrician, etc… In my opinion, Bella Brothers has no intention on completing the contract that they sign with certain customers, instead they want to keep/steal you money!! BE AWARE!

Excellent experience! The high quality work and the professionalism was exceptional. All jobs mentioned in the title of this post was done by Mike Therriault and his sons. I would definitely recommend this contractor!

We love our deck!!! Dominic of Thomas Tyler Construction was fantastic, helpful, and provided us with a deck we will enjoy for years. We were in an unfortunate situation where we hired someone else to build a deck out back and that person started the work but never finished the deck. Dominic answered my inquiry on his website and came out to our house to review the situation. He was able to assess what was salvageable and what needed to be rebuilt. He talked us through the entire process, provided us with accurate quotes, and keep us apprised of the progress through the journey. Dominic was able to rebuild what the previous person had built incorrectly. He not only corrected the mistakes but made the design more aesthetically please throughout the process. A couple of bonus additions we did as the new deck was developed. Dominic and his team were able to install a wooden support board behind the siding so we could install a tv out back on the covered portion of the deck. He increased the width of the stairs to the yard so the design was more appealing. He also found a way to make the step into the garage look much better than the previous design. Dominic truly cares about the quality of the product he’s building. He’s got a long history of success and you can see it in how he and his team complete the work. They’re thorough and have a high attention to detail. We would 100% recommend him to anyone looking to build a deck

Professional presentation. Clean work spaces. Timely work schedule. Constant progress. Beautiful outcome. I've referred JWL at least 4 times. Just invited them back for spring tune up on some things at my home. Extremely pleased.

The experience started with meeting at our house where we discussed our needs and expectations for a completed carport to garage conversion. Our needs and expectations were listened to and in the end, we have a new garage that appears as though was original to the house. That was our main goal and it was met. We live in a county where permits are not an easy feat, especially with new structures/additions. Prior to calling Bella Brothers, we had hit a wall with several other companies that couldn’t get the proper permits. After being referred to Bella Brothers, Tom and his team were able to process all the proper paperwork, architectural drawings, phone calls and meetings with our county. After some serious behind the scenes work was put in, only then could the real work begin as permits were granted. They started the job during the time frame they had estimated. The men who showed up were courteous and professional. They kept the job site clean while working and after. We were excited every day to see the progress that quickly was unfolding. The job was finished in less time then they had estimated and we were thrilled. I would highly recommend Bella Brothers Construction to anybody looking to have quality, experienced work done on their home

Work took place approximately Oct 2020-Aug 2021. There were some materials shortages due to COVID so the project took longer than expected but Jim handled the scheduling and subs with expertise! The porch is amazing and we enjoy sitting out there year-round (with the fireplace, heater, and some vinyl tarps even in the cold of winter it is tolerable!!). Our outside oasis - free of mosquitos which are oppressive around here

Picture#1 shows the poor decision made by any contractor who claims to be a professional in this business for 30+ years. Shame on you! SAH tried to explain this decision over a phone call and claimed that they wouldn’t reschedule their plumber. When we ordered the vanity they lead us to believe that the piece of the fireplace could have been removed and that the vanity could have hugged the right side wall. This would have allowed all drawers to be fully opened and utilized. When the vanity was brought upstairs to be placed, SAH tried to explain the placement on the phone and wouldn’t wait for us to physically see the what they were trying to say when they told us that the drawers wouldn’t all work. One day’s delay( or 6 hours the way they work) would have allowed us to see this 3 stooges meet Laurel and Hardy idea. It could have been staged for one day until we saw it but he pressured my wife at work and the poor decision was made. Any way you slice it, a real professional with all that experience would not have allowed the customer to make this decision. If you are not a carpenter or don’t have time to hold the contractor’s hand, do not use SAH. Picture#2 shows bad decision #2. SAH insisted that they do not replace ceiling sheet rock because it is messy due to attic insulation and that they could make it look new and that we wouldn’t know the difference. Well, it held paint great but it was flat but tilted by more than an inch across a 6’ piece. They turned the mistake into a complete error by letting the tile guy follow the slope instead of shimming and adding a new piece. Brand new tile job, $5,000 in tile labor($14,000 total labor alone for a 10’x 7’ space) and your eyes are drawn right to the mistake because the ceiling is low! Picture#3 is how the molding looks after being retouched by SAH. Everything is new; the door frame, the casing and the door stop molding(?). Before we called them back to redo, one of the nail pops was painted over while protruding an 1/8”. They fixed the nail but left the hole. The finish work on the molding was generally poor quality and they let it pass so we decided not to ask them back…ever! Shame on SAH!

I'm beyond belief thrilled. The front porch has completely transformed the entrance to our home. There was such care in dealing with a very tricky project. The end result is just gorgeous. I needed this done within a very tight timeframe; Mario made this happen. He not only met me at a stone quarry to look at stone, but he made sure that there were extra men on the job in order to get it done quickly. His estimate was fairly priced and very thoughtfully put together. Mike was our foreman and he was very patient in explaining why he was doing certain things in taking in to account how water flows and how to fix our sloping front porch. Also, he put a lot of thought into the arrangement of the stones to make it really a piece of art. This man is an artisan I imagine there are a lot of employees at Jamison, but I can't recommend Mario and Mike enough. I also want to say, it is expensive to do stone and cement work. This is reality. It is labor intensive work. So, if you are going to do this....you need to make sure that you have a great company. This is not the time to save a few dollars. Mario was very clear that this should only be done when the weather is right. To do it when it is too cold or wet could eventually be a big problem. Every contractor should be this good!

My biggest issue is with the huge lack of communication. (That and the fact that I can't really use one of the doors right now.) The initial consultation and estimate were done in late January. I paid a deposit of $6K. Within a few days, the project manager, Eric, came to take measurements. I didn't hear from anyone for a month, not knowing that nothing had been done for my project. Apparently there were questions about the job that weren't asked so the paperwork just sat there. The project manager came back late February to clear up those questions. Another month passed so I called the office for an update and left messages with the office staff. Twice. No response from the project manager, so I called him directly the following week and got no response. I called again two days later, and by this time I'm irate. It had been a month with no update and that I'd called three times before with no responses. "Hey, got your message. I'm working on it" would have been preferable to the radio silence. I finally find out there was an issue with the manufacturer, but I wouldn't have been told if I hadn't called myself. The work started another month later and took a few weeks. They put up a wall between my neighbor's and my porch to make up for the issues that we had. The outcome: Honestly, the doors look beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the aesthetic, but the paint on the insides of both doors are two different whites. I texted Eric about that and he didn't respond. I ended up having to call because a hinge pin fell out onto the floor. The cap used to keep the pin in the hinge was missing. They were missing from a few hinges. I told them about that last week. Still waiting..
