    Wally responded quickly to my email inquiry. Prior to meeting with Wally, I believed that an entire section of wall would have to be removed to properly replace the drywall, however, after meeting with Wally, he explained that removal of the rest of the wall would not be necessary. He was able to blend the new drywall against the old drywall even though there was a slight angle issue due to the new piping behind the wall. I was hesitant at first, however, Wally seemed confident that this method would work. After the work was completed, I was very pleased with the end result. The blending of the new drywall with the old drywall along with the slight angle (that I was concerned about), is almost non-noticeable. I am grateful that Wally accepted this job, as I am sure it is probably smaller than what he is used to doing

    Neal was the first contractor to respond to my request for a quote and after doing a walk-thru with three contractors total, offered a fair quote in the fastest time span. As a first time homebuyer and investor, Neal and his team were wonderful to work with over the 3 months it took them to renovate my multi-family from top to bottom. They completed a number of jobs -- demo and cleaning out an old cluttered basement, gutting and updating 3 kitchens and bathrooms, refinishing wood floors, installing vinyl in kitchens and bathrooms, painting, and exterior painting and woodwork. Neal relies on a wonderful core team of workers and hardworking sub-contractors to do more specialized work. He's very communicative, even a bit quirky. Even when issues emerged that we hadn't planned for (rotted sewer pipes for example), the team never hesitated to recommend multiple solutions and were real about the additional costs. They paid attention to detail, brought me in on any potential changes, and kept me in the loop on a regular basis to ensure I was tracking the progress and any changes. My favorite part of this was that I felt Neal and the team had my best interest at heart and that trust made a seemingly stressful project really manageable and low stress. All in all, I'm very pleased with the experience and plan to have Housing Solutions complete additional projects on my punch list. Highly recommend

    Dixie had completed a smaller exterior job for us and we were impressed with the efficiency and interest that the crew showed. They respected the property, were courteous, and respectful of our wishes. Based on that experience, we hired them for the basement renovation which was a big job. They created a recreational space where there was none. The crews were small, but they worked diligently and effectively. They did exactly what they promised on the estimate. I was impressed with the Joey's skill at all phases of construction including electric and lesser HVAC work (we didn't need major HVAC work). Again, they were very respectful of our home and responded positively to any concerns or questions that I raised, which were then addressed appropriately. The renovation took longer that we anticipated, but that was because I was unfamiliar with the scope of the work as it unfolded. The crew arrived every day, with the owner on the majority of days, and they were courteous and ready to work. If something was going to need a re-adjustment, the owner would talk to me about it, explain why it had to be done that way, before executing the work. If I had questions about a bill, he was ready, willing and able to talk to me about it so that we could make any necessary adjustments. Joey was very aware of the permit process, guided me through that, and was aware of codes in our state. When we didn't pass one building inspection they came back to meet the code standard without a charge (they never told us we had to do what they wanted in that instance), and we passed the next day with flying colors. In summary, I would use Dixie for a home remodeling project again, and I recommend this company to those considering one. A job well-done

    We had our master bathroom and hallway bathroom remodeled in September/October of 2020. This is a good company. They are a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for which includes having a project manager that deals with all the headaches that go with a remodeling project. This company returns your calls, replies to your emails and keeps their appointments. The bathrooms look beautiful. The contractors we were assigned (Jon and Leo) did a really super great job. We had Mike F. as our project manager. We really liked him a lot. He was very personable, communicated with us, was on top of the remodeling progress and even threw in our master clothes closet to be painted at no extra charge. The painter they sent (Luiz) did a phenomenal job with the painting. Tom (the owner), Arsan (the designer) and Laura (the admin asst) were all a pleasure to work with. We would recommend this company
