"The whole process went great. Mike came out and talked us through the process and provided us a quote. Then his team did an awesome job removing the old window and putting in the new door. We had one issue with the trim that was used on the outside but Mike sent someone out to fix it no problem. They were very communicative throughout and we were very happy with the entire process. "Working with Higgins Construction was a great experience for our family. If questions or concerns arose throughout the project we were able to discuss those things and come to a remedy to correct the question or concern. The crew of people that they have working for them and the subcontractors they brought in were all professional and courteous. They are very fair on their pricing and when they discovered some things that would help with insulation on our home or structural issues in our soffits - they immediately had a clear explanation for their suggestion and price for that to be fixed. Our project consisted of the following: Roof, chimney rebuilt from roofline up, new garage door, siding, shutters, cupola, soffits/facia/gutters, cedar posts on porch, lighting in soffits above the garage door.

"Scott Campbell from The Construction Group was open, honest and a joy to work with. He listened to my input and concerns about special requirement and was responsive to requests for changes and additional information. He always kept me appraised of schedules changes and unexpected delays. Pricing was upfront and transparent, with no hidden charges or surprises, and yet his bid was the lowest. He handled all the permits and required inspections without any effort on my part. And he was onsite at critical times to make sure the work was progressing as planned. The roof was beautifully done in 1 day. The LP siding took longer--7 days--but was also done well. And the final piece, window replacements in the garage, which had to be custom-made due to the age of the house, were completed in just a couple of hours. Finally, his crews--roofers, siders, electrical and window installers--were all competent, courteous and accommodating. I would highly recommend him and would use him again, if the need arose.

We were dreading hiring a contractor for replacing our roof, but we met EZ Home Solutions at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show in March 2022 & they helped us realize "dread" didn't need to be a part of replacing our roof. From the start, EZ Home Solutions took care of everything for us, including talking to our insurance company multiple times & walking us through each part of the process.
