They were the best price and came within a reasonable timeframe to do the job. He was very kind, professional, and helpful in answering our questions. I REALLY didn’t want to have to write this review. Upon filing the Corner Record with the county, there seemed to be a typo in our APN on his paperwork. The county STILL doesn’t have the record in their system and I have been following up with John since December of 2021 to get this resolved. Here are John’s responses: December 8, 2021 “I will follow up with the county on recording.” June 17, 2022 “I haven’t heard anything from the county. I am headed home from vacation in Mexico and will follow up.” August 16, 2022 “Yeah I’ve dropped the ball on this. I’ll get it taken care of.” Since then, I have multiple ignored emails. I would love to see them resolve this so I can update/remove this review

Mr. Sawyer was professional, made sure our questions were answered, provided education to us concerning property corners and boundaries and completed the work at our site within two days. - JRN Land SurveyingWe recently moved into our home and have an issue with our next-door neighbors who apparently had significantly encroached on our property with a large number of potted and in-ground plantings (e.g. tree ferns up against the side of our garage) reportedly with the permission of the previous owner. As we want to erect a fence, we wanted an accurate demarcation of our property line. I called Jim, left a message and he called back within 2 hours (the day before Thanksgiving) and made an appointment to perform the survey on Friday. After taking down my address Jim called back a few hours later to give me a cost estimate for the job; $750 for the survey and $300 to file the map with the county. Jim and his assistant arrived promptly at the appointed time and performed the survey on a hilly 11,000 sq ft. lot in approximately 2 1/2 hours. As we paid Jim in full that day he knocked $100 off the total cost. Less than 5 days later we received copies of the map he filed with the county

- Sawyer Land Surveying, Inc.My lot was surveyed in the 60's and the stakes were driven into the ground. No one knew were the lot lines really were. Mark was able to use the plat reference point to figure out where they should be and was able to find the original stakes that were about 6 inches underground. Mark was very professional and easy to deal with. He showed up when he said he would. It was harder than it sounds. Mark took some measurements and had to go back to his office to do some work. He came back the next day and dug up (exposed) all four corner stakes and marked then so I could find them. I would definitely use him again

Not a hostile dispute but not all smiles either. Matt patiently listened to my neighbor, explained why his information will be accurate and legal. This neighbor then got very upset with Matt and went to the county and spoke with the head surveyor, who is familiar with Matt's work. Since nobody is perfect and surveyors historically have been known to make n occasional error, they spent an hour looking over county records and Matt's survey to have the county tell my neighbor that Matt's survey appears free of errors. December 20th we were notified of the County's final approval. Neighbor came over, had a drink, battle over. We now agree on where the line is

" I first needed a roofing consultation for a polycarbonate roof. The roofers suggested I talk to Brian Thomas Consulting. He said Thomas was an honest, hard working, and fair priced contractor.
Thomas came out to bid the project. His bid was fair. I found Thomas to be honest and completed the job in a highly satisfactory manner.
I was so impressed with Thomas' work, I had him bid on a kitchen remodel. Thomas was involved from the beginning. He was complete, honest, and forthright. Thomas was cooperative, flexible, knowledgeable, and insightful. The remodel is nearly done. He has been timely and stuck to his schedule from the beginning. He has requested the proper monies and it is explained to the last dime where the money went and why.
Thomas is not cheap but his prices are fair, honest, and billing is complete with no hidden surprises. To date his crews are experienced and do quality work.
The remodel was extensive involving two different types of granite, cabinetry and tile work.
His work area is always clean and neat.

<p>Mr. Sawyer traveled over 60 miles one way to do this Survey for me. When he arrived the first thing he did was show<br /> <br /></p> me two of our sides from the markings on the sidewalk. He then pointed to the 3rd one. He told me that I really did not need to have my property surveyed. He climbed and walked the property line to 3rd one so my eyes could see. He circled the property line so the neighbors could see. He was here for over an hour answering our question. He was extremely informative. Then when I asked him what I owed. He turned to me and said absolutely nothing. I am here to say that there are truly good men in this world. Matt Sawyer is one of them. What a blessing!

"I liked the honesty, they stayed on top of the job, and the their ethics. They started in December, and finished in March. There was one person who came on the job, and we were not happy with him. He was new to Mr. Ingram, and he was the finish carpenter who put in the base, hung the doors, and the casing around the doorways. He was really tricky, but other than that everyone else was superb. Their price was average, but they were fast, and trustworthy.
