Disney has proudly supported the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Foundation for over 70 years, dating back to 1947 when Walt Disney and his animators designed the original Toys for Tots train logo that is still used today. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, unemployment has soared and food insecurity is on the rise. Before the pandemic, more than 35 million Americans, including over 10 million children, faced food insecurity. We know that number has significantly increased due to the pandemic.
In the spirit of service to our communities, Disney partners with Feeding America every holiday season to support food banks’ abilities to deliver nutritious foods to kids after school, create access points within communities throughout the country and provide food-insecure children with nutritious meals that will fuel creativity in their school and play.
Increasing the access kids have to nutritious foods and engaging audiences to take action is a part of Disney’s long-standing commitment to making healthy lifestyles accessible, simple, and fun. As such, Disney continues to provide a helping hand and much-needed food to families facing hunger.

One Simple Wish brings national attention to the foster care system, brightening the lives of thousands of children by making their voices heard and connecting them with people who care. Since 2008 they’ve brought love, hope and joy to over 35,000 children all over the United States through their innovative programs; giving these children the support they need to thrive and succeed.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, One Simple Wish has been providing critical support to those in need, including thousands of laptops and tablets to assist with remote learning and immediate access to essentials like groceries, transportation and personal care products.
