Some many of us, myself included, try to look into the future. We look into the future to try to determine what is going to happen to use personally and professionally but we always fall short and we get frustrated. When I was in therapy at Shatterproof I learned that I needed to live more in the moment. I learned how to cherish each moment. Cherish and be grateful for what was in my world at the moment. You see even if you are going through difficult times right now there is so much to be grateful for.

Living in the moment and stepping back from the things we can't control will bring you more peace and happiness. I remember hearing the following prayer when I was growing up. It's called the Serenity Prayer:

" God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know there difference."

Go out and conquer your day, and live in the moment.
