A new record has been set by long time TACC user Jim Chelikowsky for calculating the density of states 100,000+ silicon atoms. These calculations enable greater understanding of the optical and electronic properties of materials. More: bit.ly/3zniFwu

Code@TACC Connected takes place this week at TACC. Connected is an innovative summer camp that lets students explore where coding meets communities. Students will use networked sensors to collect data and create models for environmentally relevant problems. Have fun!

Last month, more than 20 teachers from 19 Texas school districts came together for the inaugural WeTeach_Cyber Collaborative held at TACC. Participants delved into #cybersecurity and the CompTIA Security+ certification. Attendees also toured TACC's supercomputers!
