About the programme

What are the differences between Amazon Business and Selling on Amazon?
As an Amazon Business selling partner, you have access to all of the features of a professional selling account with Amazon.co.uk. In addition to Selling on Amazon features, becoming an Amazon Business selling partner allows you to cater to the specific requirements of business customers by providing features optimized for business-to-business transactions, including quantity pricing and business pricing and more.
How much does it cost to list products as a Business selling partner?
Currently, there are no additional fees to sell as a Business selling partner. Selling partners pay the fee to register for Selling on Amazon and selling to businesses is include in their subscription.

• Monthly Subscription Fee, currently £25 (excl. VAT) for Professional Selling partners.
• Referral Fees, which vary by category. For more information, see the Fee Schedule.
When I’m a Business selling partner, who will be able to buy my products?
As an Amazon Business selling partner, you’ll enjoy all the privileges of a Professional Selling Account, with access to millions of customers across all of Amazon’s categories. You’ll also be able to reach business customers directly with a set of exclusive features, including the option of restricting purchases of listings to business customers only. Millions of businesses across a variety of industries purchase the products they need on the Amazon Business Marketplace.

How do I join the Amazon Business selling partner programme?
Businesses that register for a Professional Selling Account through Amazon Business will receive the benefits of the Business selling partner programme upon registration completion.
Existing selling partners with a Professional Selling Account can join at no additional cost.
How are orders fulfilled by Amazon Business selling partners?
You can adopt one of three approaches to fulfilling orders placed on the Amazon Business Marketplace:

1. Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) – Orders are fulfilled by Amazon and your products are shipped from state-of-the-art Amazon fulfilment centres. Orders fulfilled through FBA achieve Prime status.

2. Merchant fulfilment – Just like it sounds; you fulfil orders directly from your own facility, following the Amazon Business packaging requirements. Prime status does not apply to merchant fulfilled orders.

3. Hybrid approach – Many organizations use a mixed fulfilment strategy, shipping certain products directly and others through Fulfilment by Amazon.

VAT Calculation Service

What are the advantages of enrolling into VAT Calculation Service?
Amazon’s VAT Calculation Service provides selling partners with tax calculation, VAT invoicing and transactional tax calculation reporting functionality.

By enrolling in our VAT Calculation Service, Amazon Business selling partners will be able to display VAT exclusive prices to Amazon Business customers and their offers will receive a badge “Downloadable VAT invoice” which communicates invoice promise to business customers.
Is there an incremental fee to enrol and use Amazon's VAT Calculation Service?
No, Amazon’s VAT Calculation Service is available to all selling partners as long as they fulfil the basic enrolment criteria.
Is it mandatory to have a VAT registration number to join Amazon's VAT Calculation Service?
Yes – Selling partners will be required to provide at least one valid European Union (EU) VAT registration number in order to enrol into the service.

Selling partners should provide all EU VAT registration numbers associated with their business, including VAT registration numbers for the countries within which they store inventory, e.g. as part of the FBA programme. Storing FBA units in a country outside your home-marketplace country will trigger additional VAT registration and reporting obligations for your business. Please consult your local tax advisor for guidance, as necessary.
