Jonathan showed up on time and took a look at what need to be done to repair it. Gave me a very reasonable price and went to work. When he was done, he showed me what he had done and why and what I needed to do to keep it in working order. He then demonstrated how everything was working, I paid him, and as he was about to leave, he noticed that I had a used garage door opener that was not hooked up yet. He asked me if I was going to install it, and I told him yes, but I just hadn't gotten around to it yet. He asked me if he could install it for me and I said sure! He had it installed in a few minutes flat! Thanks Jonathan, AWESOME job!!!

Technician was prompt and adjusted the pulleys/cables to get the door in alignment. Also lubricated the rollers and recommended replacement in a year or two if I noticed they were sticking since the rollers were old. SInce the repair, the garage door is working great and very quiet. Would hire again if needed any repairs.

Recent Review: Very very pleased with Mr. Handyman. Had a section of exterior trim that had come loose in the high winds we experienced recently. It was banging on the side of my house and was threatening to do additional damage. After calling, emailing, etc., several other handyman services (and getting no response) I discovered that I had saved Mr. Handyman URL on my laptop at work. Gave them a call and arranged to perform the repair a couple hours later. Arriving home 15 minutes before the agreed upon time, Duane was already there. He repaired the trim in less than 30 minutes. Very professional. Straightened up after completion. I will definitely use again!

The tenants later told me that they had cleaned the gutters recently and the service was not needed. I emailed the woman to explain the situation and she said was very understanding. The technician presented me with different options for repairs that could be done and one was as high as $500!! Anyway, I opted for a cheaper fix which ended up costing me an additional $148.80. The repairs greatly reduced the squealing noise and I was pleased with the repairs at that time. However, I am disappointed that 1 month after the repairs were made and the door is starting to squeal again.

Recent Review: This is an excellent company. Very responsive and professional. All work was performed satisfactory. Did have issues with the garage door a couple months after install. Called J&S and they came out the next day, made necessary repairs and adjustments. Turned out that they had a batch of defective parts and were in the process of replacing these. No issues since the repairs were made. Very happy with my experience dealing with J&S. Highly recommend them and will use them again if needed.
