I contacted Simply Custom in hopes that they could help me fix or replace the custom power unit for twelve motorized shades that had shorted out due to water damage. Although Simply Custom had not done the initial installation and the company listed on my power box was no longer in business, he did not let that deter him. He put me in touch with a manufacturer who could build a new power box for me, helped my find a qualified contractor who could install it, and followed up with me to make sure it was programmed correctly. "Andy and his wife, Stella, operate Budget Blinds North Shore. &nbsp;Stella answers the phone and sets up the appointments. &nbsp;You can also reach her via email and she does respond &nbsp;I also appreciated the reminder call the day before the scheduled appointment. &nbsp;Hunter Douglas makes a great product though they are pricey. &nbsp;We did receive a promotional $250 rebate however. &nbsp;The new blinds were installed in Dec. of 2011 by Andy and he took away the old ones. &nbsp;All went well until the Fall of 2012 when some of the continuos loop pulls came apart. Andy came out &amp; fixed the ones he could and sent out 2 others back to HD. &nbsp;This is a common issue with these continuous loop pulls (they are thick) and was covered by HD. &nbsp;Andy &amp; Stella worked hard to get the blinds back to working order and there was no additional charge. &nbsp;I highly recommend them. <br />

"I needed new shades for my toddlers bedroom. Mr Johnson arrived with a broad selection of samples. I liked the materials so much I decided to replace my living room and master bedroom shades as well. I selected Hunter Douglas Soft Touch motorized shades. Lead time of several weeks was acceptable with updates on progress provided by text. On installation day Mr. Johnson arrived on time. Installation was painless: accurate, no mess, and completed by mid-day. Really appreciated Mr. Johnsons thoroughness, I am referring him to other people in my building. Model contractor.

"I called Nick because the washing machine was clicking during the washing cycle. Nick called me back, and he was able to fit me into his schedule on that very same day. He right away diagnosed the problem and he was able to fix it within 30 minutes. He also applied the Angie's list coupon automatically. Nick has worked on serveral of my appliances. He is always thorough and he quickly repairs the items. He is indeed an expert in his field! His prices are always reasonable, and I do appreciate that. "Jeff from A Better Door and Window arrived on time, explained what he'd be doing and approximately how long it would take. He went to work immediately and didn't stop until the new Liftmaster opener was installed. Despite below zero temperatures, he got the opener installed and did not short cut his explanation at the end of installation. He thoroughly explained how everything works and how we should maintain our opener, door springs and hinges. He provided our instruction book and also explained that the instructions were also on the unit itself. The opener seems to be working perfectly. Really terrific experience. We even got to use our Angie's List discount. Thanks Jeff!

"Had MQ Painting paint the exterior of my house and garage and could not be happier. Did everything the right way! First came and power washed everything a few days before, then on first day of painting removed all old caulk and re-caulked, plus filled any holes. Gave everything 2 coats and on one part that was stain actually gave 3 coats. Original quote did not include foundation, soffit, gutters, front and rear stairs but Jose added those in at a reasonable price, so had those done too. Also painted chimney at no extra charge, On top of all this they completed the job in 2 days. Could tell from first time I had Jose come out to give me a quote he was very knowledgeable and passionate about his business and painting, which I really liked. I would not hesitate to recommend MQ Painting to anybody. I guarantee you will be happy with the quality of work and price you'll receive from MQ Painting.
