The NLR id XXXXXXXXX is not valid

I'm seeing this large notice in red on all kinds of Authority control templates now. Also "The BNC id XXXXXXXXXX is not valid". Sample: [1]. Could someone please fix this? Softlavender (talk) 08:34, 3 August 2019 (UTC)

Link WorldCat Identities

Hello dear colleagues, The link to WorldCat has obviously been changed (see above) and is therefore marked green (if one has the preferences set to mark such links, I find it distracting). It should be corrected to the current link which is [[WorldCat#History]], shouldn't it? Where can that be fixed though, I wonder? Best regards, Zeitungsente0815 (talk) 10:41, 29 September 2019 (UTC)

GND error

Moved to Template talk:Authority control#GND error

I noticed this template, when transcluded at Juice Wrld, emits the error message The GND id 1201263891 is not valid. The pencil link beside the "Authority Control" at the left side of the box correctly goes to the Wikidata item (d:Q52151598), which shows the correct GND ID 1201263891. The dewiki article de:Juice Wrld does not exhibit the error, and the link there to [4] shows a valid GND entry (I recognize that it's a different template, not that I imagine either template is actually going out and verifying each of the links, is it?). Other enwiki articles, like Donny Hathaway, Natalie Cole, and Mariah Carey, do not exhibit the error. I waited a day to ensure it was not a temporary problem. I tried purging the page and browser caches. I'm not sure if this is related to #The NLR id XXXXXXXXX is not valid above. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 21:31, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

Bad editing?

I just noticed that the authority control template has been edited and now does not transfer Wikidata information properly. Can someone undo this? - kosboot (talk) 17:37, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

Irony

I find it ironic that the labels in this template are much larger than the targets. I've been following this page for years but somehow I missed the discussion that changed the former template (in which the labels were coded with the targets) to the current version. Additionally I find the current version user-unfriendly since the targets are often just a single digit which—unless you enlarge your display 150%—are difficult to click. I wish it were possible to incorporate the former template into the current version (so that the label is the target). - kosboot (talk) 14:01, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

it says he is 6 foot 5 and cites a video. in the linking video it says he is 195.2 cm - which is 6.40 feet tall, not 6.5m, 2.5 cm short 77.96.13.195 (talk) 17:03, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
