Bio:
Dr B Santhosh Kumar is presently working as Professor in Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He pursued Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Director of Technical Education between 1997 to 2000. He continued pursuing Bachelor of Engineering - Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University between 2001 to 2004. Subsequently, he pursued Master of Engineering with Specialisation of Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Tiruchirappalli between 2008 to 2011. With a strong desire in research and development, he perused and completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2018 which was highly commended.
Santhosh Kumar has more than 86 Research Articles in a total of which 44 are journal publication, and 42 are conferences presentation. He has delivered 15 guest lectures and keynote speeches at AICTE FDP/STTP, ATAL FDP, and National & International Webinars. He has filled four Indian patents and one Australian Patent grant. He has authored 4 text books. He has guided more than 50 batches of undergraduate projects and 6 batches of postgraduate projects related to computer science engineering.
He has produced remarkable academic achievements in all the subject handled in undergraduate and postgraduate. His area of interest includes Data Science, Block Chain Technology, Machine Learning, Internet of Things but not limited to. He has been awarded the best Performer in Infosys Campus Connect Program; I2OR Bright Researcher Award 2018 by International Institute of Organized Research in 2018; Young Researcher in Computer Science and Engineering by Global Outreach Research Award; Global Teacher Award 2018 by the AKS Education Foundation in 2018; IARDO Outstanding Doctoral Best Thesis Award 2018 by the International Association of Research and Development Organization in 2018; “Global Education and Corporate Leadership Best Young Researcher Award” award from Life Way Tech India Pvt Ltd in 2019; “RSRI Best Young Researcher-Computer Division” award from Ramachandra Education and Sport Trust in 2019; “SIAA Best Young Researcher (Male)” from Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties in 2019; “Best Researcher Award” from VDGOOD Professional Association, India in 2019; “Corona Warrior Award 2020” from Engineering & Management College Teachers Development Association and All India Eminent Faculty Council of Engineering and Management & Technology in 2020; “Edge India Times Award" for Excellence in Research by Edge India Publication Private Limited in 2020.
He has participated in numerous seminars, workshops, conferences and faculty development program organised by various government institutions and other nodal agencies. He has been serving as the editorial board for many reputed journals. He is also serving as the reviewer for various SCI indexed Journals, Scopus indexed Journals and International conferences organized by IEEE, Springer, Elsevier and ASDF.
He is a Senior member in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, member in Association for Computing Machinery, member in International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology, member in Database Management Systems Community, member in Universal Association of Computer and Electronics Engineers, member in International Association of Engineers and member in global member in Internet Society.
