Digital Government: Research and Practice (DGOV) is an interdisciplinary Gold Open Access journal that focuses on the potential and impact of technology on governance innovations and its transformation of public institutions. It promotes applied and empirical research from academics, practitioners, designers, and technologists, using political, policy, social, computer, and data sciences methodologies.

MOU WITH DGS

Digital Government: Research and Practice (DGOV)  Co-Editors-in-Chief, Soon Ae Chun and Beth Simone Noveck, and The Digital Government Society (DGS), represented by President Luis F. Luna-Reyes, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The signing of the MOU emphasizes their shared efforts to advance research on the impact of technology on governance innovations and public institutions.

DGS will have a collaborative relationship with the journal DGOV and will recommend high-quality papers and special issues topics that arise from the conference. DGS will also recommend Editorial board members and Special Issue Editors in order to promote diversity in terms of both topical expertise and global representation.
