About Didgeroo

We Build Websites

Didgeroo is a digital development studio in the heart of London’s Silicon Roundabout. Our neighbourhood, Shoreditch, is home to some of the worlds best creative agencies so we are perfectly located to partner with them. Together with these agencies we have built a reputation on producing beautiful and innovative websites.

Didgeroo takes pride in crafting clean semantic code and providing fanatical support. Our toolsets, workflows, hosting and support are based upon latest industry best practices. This ensures we deliver a reliable and polished website that our clients and us can be proud of.

What we do?

Complete Web Project Service

Toolset

Where possible all our tools and frameworks are open source and GPL licensed. This allows us to deliver low-cost, yet robust solutions to our clients while avoiding being locked into to expensive priority technologies with limited support.

We specialise in HTML5, CSS3, PHP and Javascript coding. Our current favourite frameworks are (but not limited to) WordPress, Magento, Bootstrap, Cake and Symfony2

Process

Version control is at the heart of our development workflow. For all projects we use a Git repository connected to multiple hosting environments (local, staging and production). We also use JIRA for project management and issue tracking.

For larger projects we apply the Scrum agile development process.

Hosting

All web hosting is not the same. Our Managed Hosting is powered by WP Engine on our own dedicated Google Compute Engine. Hosting your website within our platform maintains version control integrity so that we can easily and safely deploy website amendments and security updates.

Support

Our service does not stop when your site goes live. We offer support SLA’s that include access to our Helpdesk (powered by Zendesk) so that you have someone to turn to when you need assistance with maintaining your site. Our Managed Hosting and Support package includes off site backups, malware scanning and CMS updates to ensure your new website is always safe and secure.
