The price of a pair of assets on #ProtonSwap depends on the proportion of assets in the pool. When you make trades, the proportion changes, therefore, the price also changes. If the trade is big and/or the liquidity is low, the #PriceImpact is high. Be careful!

For each trade on #ProtonSwap, you pay a fee of 0.3% (don’t mix it up with price impact) - 0.2% goes to the #LPs according to their shares, and 0.1% is burnt.
Not many know that the fee can be reduced by staking $XPR:
>100k -> 0.2%
>1M -> 0.1%
>10M -> 0% 🆓

#DEX = Swap + Pools.
When you swap tokens on #ProtonSwap, you interact with the Liquidity Pools. A pool consists of two tokens, e.g., #XUSDC/#XPR. Any #Proton user can add liquidity to a pool and earn % from the swap commissions. Only you control your money.
