Watch the moment Tory leadership debate is taken off air after presenter faints
TalkTV’s Conservative Party leadership debate between Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss was abruptly dumped off air after its presenter fainted during the live broadcast on Tuesday (26 July).
The foreign secretary stopped answering a question and appeared alarmed as a loud crash was heard in the studio.
The broadcast was stopped and a holding slate appeared on screen.TalkTV later confirmed that presenter Kate McCann was “fine” after fainting, but the debate would not continue.
