I finally found a plumber that is reliable and does excellent work at a the price quoted to me. I've been looking for a plumber that would be able to provide this kind of great service. In the last year, I've tried 3 other plumbers. I was beginning to doubt the validity of the ratings on HomeAdvisors or Angie's list. If you want a excellent plumber that can deliver, try Patterson Plumbing. If you don't, I can provide you with names of three other plumbers.

I honestly can't remember the last time we used David Woods Plumbing, but we have used him several times in the last 5 or 6 years--but not in 2013. David is an excellent plumber and he is also very friendly and courteous. He was originally referred to us by a friend who is a building contractor. David has done work at our own home in Monterey and he has also been willing to drive to Salinas when we needed an honest and professional opinion about some plumbing issues in a rental house. We definitely would recommend David Woods Plumbing to anyone who needs an honest, trustworthy and reliable plumber.

He is a great plumber. The owner is Jason T Morgan. I've used him on a number of our properties. He is very reliable, very clean and very intelligent. He is very pleasant and trustworthy. He has not billed me for the last work but his prices are very reasonable. I would absolutely use him again.

Never in 20 years, living in this house, have I ever had a plumber travel from Monterey, CA, to do plumbing work on a house in Gonzales, CA. I was amazed that any plumber would come to Gonzales, CA, after 20 years of repeated negative experiences. Repaired the kitchen sink faucet. Replaced two (2) outdoor faucets. Recycled the water conditioner. Serviced the heating furnace. All work completed in a most excellent fashion. The plumber was very pleasant to work with. He was terrific.

It went well. I'm still smarting at an hourly charge of $95 for plumbing services, but I guess that's life. The plumber came on time, was professional and did a good job.

I was not happy with their services. The worker was kind of rude. They told me that they took credit cards over the phone, and then when he got there, he would not take my credit card. I had to find checks or cash. He also looked at my chest inappropriately the entire time. He never fixed my faucet, either. The price seemed pretty standard for a plumber. I also felt like he wasn't taking my questions seriously. I wont be using them again in the future.

I had done as much of it as I could, but I couldn't get the old supply lines disconnected. So I knew it wouldn't take too long. Other plumbers charge exorbitant flat fees. I've paid as much as $277 for 6 minutes of work. I will only use A&R Plumbing because they charge a reasonable $99 per hour or $149 per hour on weekends/holidays. I recommend them to all my friends.

I went online to Angie's List to look for a plumber and came up with this company listed as well as others. I am glad I chose Chris Wilson Plumbing because they responded quickly and resolved it fast. Also they did a clean job and put everything back as it was after the job was done. The water heater was replaced satisfactorily. In the process, the installation required replacing the platform to conform with current standards for propane fueled heaters. This also required altering the plumbing attached to the water heater and the recirculating pump. The plumber was very efficient and knew what he was doing. The result was functional and neat. I will use A & R again.

They've done quite a bit of work for me and Matt is just very responsive, very knowledgeable. He works quickly and he will handle any problem.

Drew from Legacy Plumbing came out IMMEDIATELY to our rescue because not only were all toilets and showers unusable because water would flood downstairs but we had a birthday get-together with family happening within the hour. Drew was very knowledgeable and quickly fixed our clog and we needed a replacement part for an obvious leak. Legacy Plumbing is super honest, and you don't feel like you're getting ripped off with unnecessary b.s.. This is the second time we've called and because of the great job he did on our last major issue with our old pipes, we called him again. The cleanliness, effeciency, and honesty of this company is why I felt compelled to rave about them and let people know in a review. Definitely my plumber and business to recommend from here on out.

Villa took hours to clear the kitchen line clog. We had to wait a week for the shower valve to be replaced because it was a 2-man job and that was the soonest they had 2 men available with their vacation schedule (seriously, that's what they told me, although I was without the bath/shower for that entire time) and the plumber tried and said he could not clear the main sewer line and suggested I needed to tear up the iron pipes and have new pipes laid. We hired another plumber for $99 and in under an hour, he had it cleaned out. Villa plumbing was so bad, we've decided to not renew our home warranty with American Home Shield because they use cut-rate professionals who are less than effective.

They were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. They followed through and they did what they said they were going to do.

Their service price is competitive, but they probably not the least expensive. They are at least competitive for the quality of their work.

Ranch Hands Construction performed excellent work on all aspects of my job, from electrical to plumbing to woodworking. They were always on time, communicated well, gave clear project estimates and always cleaned up the job site. I would highly recommend them and use their services again.

Our dishwasher malfunctioned and they estimated that it would cost as much for a new one as to repair the old. Whilst there, he took all the stuff out from under the sink to check out what was wrong with the d.w. - he put everything right back where it goes (I've never had a plumber do that). When we had the new dishwasher delivered, we had him install it. He noted that there were pretty old pipes servicing the house, replaced those and did an excellent job. They do electrical and plumbing - I would recommend them to anyone.

So glad I picked this company! Front desk was very cheerful and happy to help. The technician was on time, professional and trustworthy. The equipment is reliable and dependable. Excellent experience!

Plumbers arrived an hour earlier than I scheduled which did not coincide with the carpenter who was scheduled to be there at the same time for a bathtub installation and remodel job we were doing. A&R plumbers cost $98 per hour. The plumbers are very nice and courteous. I made the mistake of not getting a flat bid in advance and I found out that if I provide the part and there is a problem with that part, it is my problem. Of course if you buy the parts from the plumber it's going to cost you much more than if you order the parts online so you're kind of screwed either way. Turns out our very expensive Hans Grohe shower valve purchased locally from Ferguson's was faulty which caused additional time to be spent. Hans Grohe does not credit for plumber time if their part is defective. The accounts payable person at A&R ultimately gave us a credit for some of the extra time it spent with two guys trying to figure out how to deal with the faulty part. This is what I would have done in my company in a similar situation. $98 per hour X 2 is a lot for problem-solving. They also allowed me to split my payments over 3 months since it was a large job and we've been using A&R for many years. Plumbers charge much more than even the most amazing carpenter I hired. After the tile work was complete in our bathroom, another A&R plumber came back to do the final installation of fixtures and re-install the toilet. When he arrived he asked why the toilet plumbing had been raised by the last guy. He determined that the other guy must have thought it was a different toilet (even though it was sitting right outside the window in plain sight) and had told us that it wasn't code, so he changed it. Turns out it was correct in the first place so it should not have been changed. When I called to make the final payment, I brought up this toilet plumbing issue and the woman was very snotty to me and said "We've already been through this and gave you a credit." I said that the credit was not for the toilet issue but for the extra time and labor spent trying to figure out the shower valve. She said, "Not only did we already gave you a credit, so did Ferguson's (which was for a future purchase we decided against) so you got double credit" This was not only incorrect, but completely not relevant to the current issue and unprofessional of her. What business of her was it how much we paid Ferguson's and whether or not they gave us credit? Bottom line is that when you are hiring a large company like A&R, you get the guys who are sent out by the main office and you are charged by the hour unless you get a flat bid. If you pay by the hour and things take longer than they should or things are not done as you require, then it's up to you to call for a correction. Because of the terrible experience I had with the woman in the office (I think she is a family member of the ownership) I will make every attempt not to use this company again and I will let everyone know about this experience. It's too bad, because we very much like the plumbers who work for them and think they do fine work. A&R needs to provide customer service training for their accounting department.
