Teaching Assistant - Loughton Essex

A fast paced, high achieving Essex Primary School based in Loughton are looking to appoint multiple Teaching Assistants to join them from September 2022. This would also be a great opportunity for a Graduate who is eager to gain paid primary school experience ahead of potentially commencing teacher training.

The successful candidate will be expected to deal with first aid matters and have good knowledge of the National Curriculum up to Year 6 and knowledge of SEND and barriers to learning.

**Teaching Assistant

**Long Term, Full-Time position

**Located in Loughton, Essex

**Ambitious Primary School

**£70-£90 per day depending on experience

As a teaching assistant you will be:

• Dedicated to helping students achieve their attainment levels
• You will encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
• You will be responsible in helping to provide a safe environment for students to learn.
• You will assist the teacher in the students their learning and development as well as with behaviour management, consistently promoting positive behaviour.
• This may involve working with students who have been diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome and learning difficulties
• You will be expected to support students in both an academic and social capacity
• Working collaboratively with outside specialists, adopting a multi-agency approach (ie. working alongside the Speech and Language Therapist to develop tailored interventions)#

This position will give you the opportunity to be on boarded onto courses to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the how a primary school operates and how to safely support all students including those who require additional support daily. This role does not require previous experience, just a willingness to learn and a passion for education. The successful candidate will be available immediately to start on a long-term, full-time position.

To be eligible for this role you must have the following:

• Have GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and;
• Recent Graduates welcome to apply
• Have Fantastic time management and organisational skills
• Hold a current DBS
• Have experience working with primary aged children
