AWB issues[edit]

In this edit, you change a working link to the website, to a link which isn't clickable in the infobox. And in some changes, you replace "accessdate" with "access-date", though one is an alternative of the other and there is no need to make this change. Fram (talk) 12:38, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and here and elsewhere, you remove trailing blanks after "website", but these should remain: the parameters in the infobox are aligned, it is not helpful to remove the spaces from one of them. Fram (talk) 12:40, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

:ref= is not supposed to contain an external link, working or not; pages with such external links are placed in Category:CS1 errors: external links. The edit removed Galyang Municipality from the error category. access-date is the correct form given in [[1]], and accessdate is an alias. The website edits catch typos such as webiste= or website-. My policy is to stop doing things people complain about so I will find something else to do. Oculi (talk) 12:56, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please look again at the Galyang edit. I'm not complaining about the "ref=" issue, but about the change of "|website = http://galyangmun.gov.np" to "|website=galyangmun.gov.np". For access-date and accessdate: one shouldn't change aliases to one another (either direction), both work and are accepted, that's why it is an alias. And I have no issue when you change "webiste" to "website" of course, but changing "|website =" to "|website= " does nothing of the sort. Fram (talk) 13:16, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry - yes, I agree that |website = http://galyangmun.gov.np" was a mistake on my part. The intention there is to delink |website = http://galyangmun.gov.np" when 'website=' is within a CS1 cite and that one is not; and I failed to catch it. Oculi (talk) 13:24, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

White Army[edit]

@Oculi:, looking deeper into this edit and to this reverted contribution, I am wondering if the changes by this anonymous user pose a problem. COI? Thank you for your time. Lotje (talk) 15:15, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the 2nd edit is very POV but is on ru wiki and was the only edit there of the ip (in 2021). For the first edit (the only edit of the same ip on en wiki), Refill seems to have removed the English translation of the title while supplying other details, so perhaps the answer is to use trans-title as well as title. (Ref expander does the same as Refill.) Oculi (talk) 16:58, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Occuli,

Thank you for correcting the reference notes in my recent expansion of the Prützmann article. A careless typo on my part, compounded by the use of copy and paste. Thank you for spotting it. Regards. Historybuff0105 (talk) 18:47, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
