Depending on which sales group you work for, Dell could be a very rewarding experience. Major accounts are a good place to go, as is the OEM group. One thing to watch out for is the changing environment between incoming EMC and existing Dell legacy sales management. Overall, Dell's a good place to work.

Tier 2 / Escalations Support Representative in Nashville, TN

I really enjoyed working with Dell computers. I worked there for a little over a year and a 1/2, and felt very comfortable with the pace that I was able to work. Unfortunately there were some issues that I ran in personally issues that are random to. Such as favoritism toward other employees. It's. I literally wrote the book on troubleshooting mobile devices for the Honeywell account, however I got no recognition for any of my achievements. New employees that came in after me work promoted and advanced to a higher level position than what I was after putting in all the work that I put in period there were many times where I worked 2 ships every day just again

Fantastic Flexibility and great people! For the most part, I feel my manager supports my work/life balance. As long as the job gets done well and on time, they fully support flexibility. Lots of opportunities to find new roles within the company.

Been an employee of Dell for over 3 years. In that time my work load has doubled. I've been promoted twice, and I make a whopping .80 more per hour than when I started. During the pandemic Dell has made tons of money, meanwhile those responsible for keeping a positive cash flow barely make $40K a year. Shame on you Dell!! Doubt I'll make it to 4 years.
