What you’ll achieve
We’re excited to announce that we’re continuing to build our new 5G wireless O-RAN team from scratch and we’re looking for a passionate software development manager to lead a team.  If you enjoy working on a new product, new software, new team, deep desire to learn and collaborate with others, then we want to hear from you.  The candidate for this role will have significant work experience managing and technically leading software development teams leading to product delivery. 

You will:

  • Direct, lead, and manage a 5G wireless O-RAN embedded software development team
  • Holds both line management and project management responsibilities which includes product deliverables, budget, and schedule, work breakdown structure, coaching, mentoring, technical and organizational competency, advocate for Agile methodologies, and product quality with a focus on automation
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for 5G products and systems
  • Foster collaboration between HW and SW teams in development and innovation 
  • Communicate status reports to internal leadership, stakeholders and coordinate with third-parties that contribute to the overall product deliverables

Essential Requirements

  • Technical leadership with proficiency in 5G Layer 2 DU Radio software development working with wireless technologies, 4G, 5G, 3GPP and ORAN protocols
  • Experience with development lab setups and factory production introduction, a practitioner of CICD and experience in Embedded Software Development in C/C++
  • Proven record of successfully running a software development program for wireless products, preferably 5G, and delivering commercial products to market 
  • Ability to foster empathy, open-ness and curiosity with their team
  • Team focused mentality with a desire to be part of a collaborative team environment, working on new and cutting-edge technologies

Desirable Requirements

  • Ideally, 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Typically requires 2+ years managerial experience
