We personally know the owner of the business so there was a lot of confidence that "trust" will not be an issue and they indeed delivered to our satisfaction. The renovation was close to completion when Harvey came and the challenge with sub-contractors at that time did not make a difference on the completion time. I reviewed Dan once already, but then our project took a long hiatus (for reasons beyond the control of Dan). This Project wouldn't have been completed on Schedule without the help of Derek. Took into consideration our budget and designed our forever home. His knowledge of the residential code and permits made the application process easier than driving a car.

This company did a great job on replacing shrubs, the planting looks good. They were professional and worked fast. Communication was great, they sent pictures via text messages during the work to show progress. Overall, I am very pleased with the results. My only suggestion for improvement is that a better sweeping or removal of residue or dirt/mulch away from the driveway/pavement area where plants were added.

John and his team did a great job! John listened to our ideas and made many helpful suggestions. His many years of experience of landscaping locally was very valuable. He identified that we had a drainage issue (we had never even thought about that! But it is a common problem in East Texas) and took steps to remedy it. He also suggested and made some simple additions to our sprinkler system to meet the water requirements of our new plants — something else we had not thought about. Very pleased we chose John to work with!

We chose Zodega for their professionalism good reviews. Prices were much higher than competitors. I had already deposited 50% two months in advance before the project started. Not exactly what I had in mind originally but I know now to not steer away from your goal, even if it takes longer to get it right.
Update: Within the year, Zodega has returned to replace the warped wooden planks. Lanier is a helpful rep. Thanks!
