I cant' say how happy I am with this Bassett. This past spring, I began getting estimates to remove a 1960's deck and replace it with a screenroom/deck on my new home. As background, I am a DIYer and have done fairly extensive renovations myself on my rental houses so I have experience but not a pro. I had a budget, but quality and workmanship was a priority for me as this was going on my personal house and I had wanted one for decades. I met with 5 companies but chose Bassett. Steve came out a couple hours with me (no-hassle) getting an idea of what I wanted and going over options. There were some things I really wanted and others I wanted to forego and he worked with me to get into my budget. The short of it: Communication, timing and clean up and follow through were great and Diego their operations guy, kept in touch with me every step of the way. The real differentiation to me was the quality and attention to detail. Jaime, and his team (the onsite builders) used to be a cabinet maker so they build to really tight tolerances and precision cuts. I included some detailed pictures to show. I mean every piece of this fits like a Swiss clock. 5 months later, and nothing has changed. I got a couple upgrades that other companies didnt even offer (solid wood tongue and groove ceiling, cedar beams, etc). They were competitively priced and VERY competitively priced when you consider the workmanship and material quality. It is by far my favorite room of the house and I have had several neighbors ask for their number since spending time on it. You wont be disappointed. These pictures don't show the gutters and downspouts that were added a couple days later but they are same great quality. I highly recommend.

Since Samson excelled in the two previous interior renovation projects they completed for me, it followed that Iâ d ask them to knock out some exterior maintenance issues, as well. I needed some damaged siding and associated trim pieces replaced & painted on a back wall & chimney, prominent fascia/trim on the front and some light trenching in the back. Even as the job was small, Randy kept to the same high standards Iâ ve come to expect from Samson... they continue to be my â go-toâ guys!

Craftsmen and Gentlemen We hired Mike and his men to replace planks and refinish our deck, along with painting our railings and screen porch. They have also replaced the ceiling fan on the screen porch and refurbished our doors. When damage to our chimney enclosure was discovered, Mike provided expert repair at a very reasonable price. Best of all, these hard-working gentlemen have been punctual, polite and have provided careful craftsmanship to all of their tasks. We are so pleased with their work that we’ve already contracted them to do a complete renovation of our master bathroom. We could not be more pleased with the work and the men doing it.
