It took a while for them to get started, due, at least in part, to the pandemic, but once they started the project they were great. The crew were prompt, professional, and friendly. Jeremy, Chan, & Miguel were always extremely patient in answering all of my questions and and responded quickly to resolve any concerns I had. I was sure, I would lose some of my long term plants near where the trench for the drain had to be dug, but in all but one, unavoidable, instance they were careful to leave them undisturbed. If one can call a french drain beautiful, mine is beautiful. We had a massive atmospheric river pass through this area right after the project was finished and the french drain worked like a charm -- not one drop of moisture under the house. In addition, the All Seasons crew often went above & beyond what was expected, rebuilding some steps & shoring up part of my old deck. I'm very pleased with the job they did and would hire them again

I highly recommend Oren SOD Home Group! He is very knowledgeable, answered all my questions (and more) , very professional, and responsive. Oren spent over 5 hours during our first meeting showing me all the possibilities that can be done to my house (kitchen, bathrooms, livingroom, dinning room and all the rest of the house), if you know little about all the little details about remodeling your home (like I do), Oren will definitely explain it to you in terms that you will completely understand and turns your ideas into this beautiful 3D design. Oren also had awesome ideas and recommendations on how to attain your dream home. He knows house histories, and why houses were built in a certain way! He is unlike any other contractor that will just throw out random price of how much the renovation could cost you without showing you hard proof. I am a visual learner, so when he made this amazing 3D design using the exact measurement of my house, he by far blown my mind with his experience and knowledge. We highly recommend SOD Home Group for any large construction project. After finishing my excellent research about them, we hired them to make some significantly large repairs to our home. Oren was very up front about what needed to be done, and he listened to our concerns and ideas of what we need and want and then came up with a super detailed plan of what needed to be done. We found Oren as a very honest, professional, easy to work with person, competent, and extremely knowledgeable about his trades. Oren was present and working with his teams almost all the time they were present. Oren always answered his phone right away whenever we had questions (and believe us we had so many questions and comments). Our repairs and construction job required expertise in many aspects of construction at our home. From framing, waterproofing, stucco, structural repairs, tile work, drywall painting etc. all of which got done in a great and timely manner. We do a lot of our own repairs , and have had many contractors doing projects too, but we found SOD Home Group to be by far the best construction company we have ever seen or worked with. Their prices are fair, their work is excellent, on time, clean and the quality is fantastic. Oren is knowledgeable about whatever he is working on and always kept me updated on whatever aspect of the job he was working on. A wonderful person to work with. Dave is truly a lovely human, after two major projects on our home he feels like an uncle rather than our contractor. With that comes him always having our best interest at heart. He values people and family very strongly and treats your home as something that needs to be taken care of to keep the family safe and flourishing. He also has great relationships with many venders and other professionals and know how to get great quality products from great companies. He helps you pick what you need value wise what products to get and set clear priorities and stick to them. Dave is responsive, communicative and extremely kind. He takes great care to know what you want, why and try to get you what will really work as well as be safe and up to code. He knows well the ins and outs of the city planning and building debarments and helps to navigate all of that as well. Overall, SOD was outstanding to work with. We bought our house last year (May 2014) and knew right away we wanted to do a remodel to make a master suite. This being our first home and first experience doing a remodel we were a little nervous about the whole process, but SOD made it pretty painless and the outcome is beautiful. We used our own designer for the design of of our remodel, but we have no doubt SOD would have designed something beautiful as well. We bid out our project to 3 contractors total and SOD came in right in the middle (everyone was very close to each other though). We ultimately decided to go with SOD because we really liked their responsiveness to all our questions during the bidding process and their customer portal they have where you can see pics of your project along the way, do change orders online, and communicate with all their staff very easily. We are busy people who both work full time so we knew we needed a contractor who was going to be really great with communication (email, text, etc.) and SOD 100% delivered on that. We also really liked that they didn't sub out a lot of the work/that they had their own crews for plumbing, electrical, painting, foundation, demo., etc. We saw this really made a difference compared to friends who used contractors who subcontracted a lot of the work out because it allowed us to stay on schedule and not wait for anyone for the next step in the remodel/construction. Our project took about 3- 3/12 months, which was right on schedule and often times we were way ahead of schedule. Eran was our project manager and was fantastic and very helpful along the way. Oren, the owner, is 100% committed to customer service and always wants you to be happy. Their office staff is also great and much more organized than others we have heard about from friends who have done big construction projects although there were some coordination issues at times, but not a big deal overall. Now, this is all not to say that everything went perfectly smoothly. There were hiccups along the way, but they were minor and SOD always listened to our concerns and complaints, addressed them pretty immediately, and worked with us for a solution. We truly believe that with any good contractor you will have problems along the way, but how they respond and how they deal with those problem is the real way to judge a company. SOD prides itself on customer service and we can attest to the fact that they live up to their word. At the end of the day, they want you to be happy with the work and will work tirelessly to make that happen. All of the crews were wonderful, respectful, and the hardest workers we have ever seen. It was not uncommon for them to start their day at 8 am at our house and not leave until 7-8 pm. They also came on weekends (they always made sure this was OK for us) and they were all a true pleasure to work with. In the end, we went just 8-10 K over the bid price due to unforeseen issues that were no fault to SOD or upgrades we decided on later. We are extremely happy with SOD and plan to use them in the future for other remodel projects that we have planned. We have recommended them to others and would do so in a heartbeat for anyone looking for a great company to work on their house

Did an almost complete, major remodel of the entire ~1600 sq ft house build in the 50s. It would have been impossible to live in the place during the remodel. So one of the criteria was that the bulk of the work would be done in 3 month. They managed to keep it to 3 month from move-out to moving back?on time. A major accomplishment for a project of this size. They came in and did the demolishing in less than a week. Worked Saturdays and sometime Sundays to meet the schedule and assigned as many people as necessary. Did most of the work with their own people but brought in contractors for some jobs. All very professional. Some of the details were finished after we moved back in. We kept finding small things after moving back we didn?t notice before and they and fixed all the things we mentioned. No cost overrun or surprises after the contract was signed either. Actually, quite the opposite. When we ran into a few problems, which you invariably do with bigger construction projects like this, SOD would immediately take steps to address the issue to our satisfaction (e.g. wrong color paint and a window). When there was a problem the responses was immediate. After moving in we had a bit of water running from a pipe coming out of the wall on the floor in the bathroom one evening. I called and they had a crew of 3 guys ringing the doorbell 20 minutes later at 9:00 in the evening. I have a detached Garage in bad shape as well which was not part of the project (quote), but they removed the siding and put on stucco and a new roof anyway. Also, additional lights (I have all LED recess lights) and bathroom fans were added later at no extra cost when I simply asked for it. Even fixed my shower faucets after all the work had been finished 3 month or so after we moved back in requiring to open the walls again. Something I had forgotten to ask for. SOD clearly showed they are an experienced company with a lot of know-how. Easy to work with. This is the company we'd like to work with again because they always covered our back with honesty and sincerity. They were easy to reach and responsive. And the online web site for communication and email works great as well. And I was really impressed with the quality of the work I can't say enough good things. I just know that we made the right choice! Hire these guys if you have a job to get it done. I would again

The service provided by Basements.com was outstanding. I live in California, and the property is in Philadelphia. Coordinating the work was a little tricky because of the time difference and working with my tenant. Larry, the owner, was absolutely great about keeping me in the loop about what was happening and what the next steps were. He called often, and made himself available to answer questions at all hours. He also sent many photos to help me understand what was needed. Also he went the extra mile and took care of some structural repairs that, if not attended to, would have caused the front of the house to sag, and affect the structural integrity of the whole house. I should also mention that I had contacted him a year ago to do repairs, and didn't act on it then. He was very gracious about coming back to do a new assessment, and give advice about the new/deteriorating condition of the basement. I never felt judged for putting off the work when it was first recommended. Later, walls needed to be replaced and he offered to have his team do that, and also finish up by painting everything so it looks brand new. This streamlined the whole process, so I didn't have to find a contractor. My tenant was very appreciative of them doing their best to have as little impact as possible on her lifestyle. So - superior work, excellent communication, thoughtful attention to detail, and, for me, peace of mind knowing the house is structurally sound and there will be no more issues with water coming in. "It went very well. Joe inspected and photographed all the supports in the crawl space. They were reviewed and annotated so that I could see exactly what their status was. I was also directed to their website to see what their process is for correcting the problems and upgrading the foundation at the same time. I bought into the process, signed the contract, and the work was completed in the time estimated. It was a pleasure working with Art and Joe and I am very confident in the integrity of the foundation now. We were living in the Bay Area at the time of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake and talk of the possibility of a good sized quake here bothered me. "We hired Shefer Builder to remodel our recently purchased condo. The project consisted of installing recessed lights, remodeling a bathroom and building a new closet. I am very pleased with the effort they (primarily their office manager, Natali) put in to make sure that all the necessary documents were in place so that the project could be approved by our HOA. I spoke to 7 contractors trying to get proposals and the documents required by the HOA. Three contractors backed out before giving me a proposal, one had messed up documents, one kept trying to upsell me, one seemed very inexperienced, and one provided a bid that seemed like a lowball bid. Shefer was professional in the bid process and the project was completed at the cost that I expected. I was impressed that for each facet of the project, i.e., electrical, tile, plumbing, painting, carpentry, a specialized crew was working on that facet. The quality of the work was excellent and Yani kept on top of the project to make sure that everything was done correctly.
