"We hired SF after receiving a very fair estimate. They arrived on time and excavated the street and our front lawn and exposed the old pipe. All that took one working day. The next day they provided the copper pipe to the local Water and Sewer Dept. which laid the new line from the main in the street into our basement. Then SF connected the new line to our main in our basement. The water was turned back on and SF replaced the soil, repaved the street and paved the sidewalk. In all a beautiful job. All was finished by 3:00 day 2 which was the promised time to complete the job.

"The city required replacement of the lead water line from the meter to the sidewalk. Alex was very helpful in providing a quote and explaining the scope of the work. The day of the project Declan and Jared arrived promptly and began excavating the sidewalk. They were able to replace the water line with copper and fill in the hole in about 4 hours. They will return in a few days to replace the concrete in the sidewalk. My experience with CJ Doherty was very positive.

"The service was great. Joe walked us through in detail, the steps he would take to install our garage heater including the equipment and parts he was going to install. Joe is polite and courteous, leaving the spaces he work in looking like they did before he came. After installation he showed me how the unit worked before he left. I had a follow up question the next day and he came back to check on the heater and answer my questions. Overall great service. We now have a warm garage.

"The work performed in the abandonment of the underground oil tank was done in a very professional manner&nbsp;by the assigned workers.&nbsp; From the moment they arrived, they explained every detail on how the job was going to be accomplished.&nbsp; Once they had the tank exposed, they examined it for any leakage and cleaned it of its residue in preparation for inspection by the city's fire department.&nbsp; Once the City of Yonkers Fire Department made its inspection and determined that there was no spillage, the tank was then&nbsp;filled with the appropriate material and closed.&nbsp; The area was then prepared and returned to its present condition. <br /> While all of this was being done, another member of the team was engaged in the installation of the new above ground oil tank.&nbsp; The installation&nbsp;entailed running a line from the new tank, around two sides of the house, to the boiler room.&nbsp; Once the installation was&nbsp;completed we were instructed on the functioning of the tank. <br /> The work was performed in a very professional manner and to our satisfaction.&nbsp; The workers&nbsp;knew what needed to be done and did it with care and left the place meticulous.&nbsp; It is without hesitation that I highly recommend them for your needs. <br />

"Upon accepting his proposal the work was scheduled for the following weekend. Reynolds was on time and curtious. His crew performed the trenching and drainage system work over the weekend as we had requested. We were impressed not only with his professionalism but technical expertise. Not only had he designed the system for a peak storm event but performed the survey work required as well. <br /> When complete the entire yard and property was swept clean and tidy. Despite a few minor changes that came up as the work was done he held his original estimate. After having the paving completed a few weeks later we had a tremendous thunderstorm and we were more than pleased to see how effective everything worked. Since then we have referred several of our neighbors and good friends to Reynolds and he has pleased all of them. It's refreshing to find a small local contractor who does good work for a reasonable price.

"About a week ago, I had a heat emergency. At first, I didn’t know what to do. I reached out to contractors on Angi (among other places). All of them were super busy. Luckily, I mostly figured out how to resolve my heating emergency myself. However, I still needed maintenance. Ryan from pro comfort control reached out to say that had some unexpected space in his schedule. We discussed options for what I might need or want. I chose 2/3 of the options. He said he’d call me the next day. I said I was flexible since I work from home. Next morning he texts and says how about now? 45 minutes later he and his colleague arrive (with all COVID boosters and masks), and we discover that some work (boiler skimming) can’t be performed w/o an extra valve which would cost a slight bit more (I completely understood). ~2 hours later, the work was completed. He explained everything before and afterwords in great detail. He said that although my boiler was ~20 years old, it should last for another 10-15 years as long as I performed regular maintenance and cleaning (skimming). He said I should consider heat pumps and a/c splits, and that with an inspection from mass save it would be cheap and last a long time. I look forward to having him come back!
