After a thorough and comparative search for a general contractor needed to lead a full apartment build in an unfinished basement I chose Dominick of D & J due to his long-time experience, fair pricing, and attentiveness. I couldn't be happier with my choice. Dominick flawlessly lead his team and other sub-contractors through every aspect of an extensive project, including: demo, excavation, structural support, new concrete subfloor, plumbing, electrical, framing, windows, sheet rocking, tiling, flooring, painting, kitchen install, etc. His team was very punctual and worked consistently every day. The communication with Dominick was excellent as we were in constant contact throughout the project and he was accessible around the clock, answering every single phone call. He was able to take direction well and execute all my desires, while also treating the property as if it was his, taking full responsibility for every aspect of the job and going above and beyond to ensure the best ultimate outcome. He works very clean and he ensures his team always shows attention to details. The final product was an amazing 2 bedroom apartment! Dominick and D&J Tristate Contractors really proved to be a perfect contractor for our job and I would recommend them for any job, big or small.

Mohammad and his team were professional from start to finish. Communication was prompt and courteous throughout the project. The job involved complete removal of the old, leaking roof of our Manhattan brownstone, and rebuilding it with a multi-layer, fully sealed new roof. Mohammad gave a prompt and extremely thorough quote, showing with custom annotated photos of our roof exactly what they would do. They provide a 10-yr. warranty and are fully licensed and insured. They showed up when promised, and completed the job on time. When a small leak appeared during the recent hurricane, he returned to seal it up at no charge. I fully recommend Fine Waterproofing.

Danny and his team are incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of home remodeling, work hard and fast, maintain excellent communication, and do it at a fair, no-surprises cost. They took on a project that turned into a gut renovation of our 100-year-old basement and turned a dank, cramped pair of rooms into a bright, functional space where my kids can play safely and I can work comfortably. They demo'ed an old kitchen, knocked out walls, built custom cabinetry and storage, rerouted piping and electrical components, even took time to experiment to make a match for the disrupted floor tiles. They painted the walls, painted and stained the steps, and did other projects like hang a new attic door and install a new toilet. I will be calling Champion exclusively for all my future home maintenance/improvement needs. Cannot recommend them enough.

The folks at M. K. contractors, from the owner, Mark, to his partners and fellow workers, are professional, polite, civil, reliable, and talented at their respective jobs. They did a marvelous job replacing our deck and concrete, as well as some ancillary electrical work and the replacement of our fence . Further, they left the property as clean as it was before work began. I will recommend M. K. Contractors to anyone for any job without hesitation. Zicklin Construction is world class! They did the shoring up of my basement and installed a patio outside in my backyard. They were professional, friendly, and easy to work with.
