This is my 2nd time using Perma-Seal..the 1st time was in November of 2020. Your salesman, Don Baier, is outstanding...he quickly understands the problem and has the solution to fix the problem. Because of Don's efficiency, I have referred two family members to Don B. who have become very satisfied customers of Perma-Seal. Don is definitely an asset to the Perma-Seal family. The two men who came to do the job today, Lorenzo and Raul, were also outstanding. They were quick to start the job and didn't stop until it was completed. They too are assets to Perma- Seal. Again, we're very satisfied with the job done by Perma-Seal and will continue to refer friends and family to Don Baier of Perma-Seal

Could not have been better. Unlike every other plumber I contacted, Vasyl responded promptly, and was able to come out the same day. He also charged much less than the others quoted. Vasyl was completely professional, and performed the job quickly, efficiently and well. I have found my go-to plumber

The two gentlemen from Junk Relief were prompt, professional, courteous and efficient. They were able to remove a queen size bedroom suite from a tight area without doing any damage to walls or doorframes. I would definitely use them again.

  • Advantage Plumbing & Sewer Co.
    5.0
Advantage Plumbing was amazing. Both our water heaters broke down this past Sunday. We called several places & they either didn't have the equipment until Monday or price price gouged because it was a Sunday & an emergency. I got a call back from Advantage Plumbing in Elgin and they charged a very fair price for 2 water heaters plus they only charged a small fee for a Sunday. Now this was not only a Sunday, the plumber (DILLION - after working all day) arrived at our home at 7:00 p.m. - He replaced both water heaters within 1 1/2 hours and was fantastic. Trust me, if you need a plumber (especially on a weekend) - call them. They do not gouge you when your in a tough spot. They promised me early Sunday afternoon that they would replace them for sure the same day and they kept their word. We are remodeling our bathroom next and will be calling them again

It was so refreshing to work with Poul's! The design team helped us create what we wanted within our price range, the installers were awesome. They arrived everyday at the expected time, did fabulous work & cleaned up well. Follow up from the entire team was exceptional. I would highly recommend Poul's. It was actually a pleasure to do business with them & our patio is awesome

  • Tmw Enterprises Paving & Maintenance
    5.0
Working with TMW was a pleasure. Estimating was clear and easy to understand. Pricing was fair. Once we committed to doing the project, we had clear communication from Ty about permitting and scheduling, and he was quick about answering any question. The actual project took less time than scheduled and Luis and Ty were again available for communication every day. We especially liked how they came out to look over the site before work began to iron out any questions we or they had. The actual driveway work and stone walkway were done flawlessly. Every workday the workers were on time, worked efficiently, and kept the worksite (our yard and front of the house) clean. We could not be happier with the process or the final product. We know that the new driveway and walkway will serve us for years to come. TMW and his entire crew are highly recommended

  • Goode Plumbing
    1.0
Tl;dr: DO NOT USE GOODE. This company was dishonest, misleading, horrible with communication, and jeopardized the sale of our home. Our experience with this company was an absolute nightmare, and we want to share our experience so others can avoid making the same mistakes we did in trusting Goode. We hired Goode to replace a flood control system while we were in the process of selling our house. Their quote was $2K higher than another bidder but we chose them for their reputation. They started the job the day before the home inspection and absolutely tore up our front yard and paver sidewalk. The existing flood control was to the side of the sidewalk, but the hole they dug was about 5 times larger and directly in front of our front steps. That hole remained there for over 5 weeks. Nothing was disclosed upfront about the destruction of the front yard and sidewalk, and we spent $900 repairing the damage they caused. They also told us on this first day that the manhole cover may be directly in the middle of our sidewalk. Even the guys digging the hole said this should have been explained to us. We battled with Goode for weeks and ultimately the cover was placed just to the side of the repaired sidewalk. The project was then paused while we waited for the City to inspect the project and issue the permit. Finally we were told the permit was granted and the hole would be filled in, but only *after* an electrician came out to run a new line. Nothing about electric was disclosed to us previously and running a new line would require opening up drywall in our basement. We also had to coordinate separately with the electrician to make the appointment, and he was backed up so it took over a week for him to come to the property. When he finally came by, no one from Goode showed up to remove the cover over the giant hole so we had to wait another week for him to come by again. Ultimately the job turned out to be simple and we waited 3 weeks for the electrician to do a 1 hour job that required no access to the home. In the meantime, in response to our buyers’ concerns, we called Goode nearly daily to fill in the massive hole in our front yard. They finally said they could fill most of the hole while leaving an opening for the remaining electrical work. After the hole was partially filled, guess who showed up at the property? The City, because Goode had not secured permits after all. This caused another delay while we waited to actually get the permit from the City. The City finally approved the permit on a Friday morning, when we were moving out of the property the following Tuesday morning. Goode refused to fill the hole until Monday, which meant the yard and sidewalk repair would need to be done after we’d moved out of the state. This ultimately worked out with the help of our realtor but was a giant pain in the neck and huge stressor in an already stressful situation. But you know what Goode is timely about? Collecting its bill. The very next day after they finally filled the hole, while we were driving cross-country to our new house, Goode called asking for its payment. We explained how unhappy we were about the handling of the project and asked them to make it right. They ultimately reduced the cost by $500, which did not even cover the repair of the undisclosed yard and sidewalk damage. But our hands were tied as we needed to provide an invoice to our buyers before closing. Bottom line: Goode is no good! Do not use them and if you do, be prepared for rampant miscommunication, dishonesty, and completely preventable delays
