Comment: I just recently bought a house, and I want to install a 75” tv and a 5 speaker surround system in the basement. I have the TV and speakers already. I would like the cables run through the walls, which are drywall, and I’d like speaker plates installed for each speaker and a wall plate for HDMI cables behind for the tv. There is a closet next to the tv wall where I would like the receiver and various consoles to live, with a wall plate for all the connections the receiver has. There are two rear speakers that I would like ceiling mounted behind the tv area, also with speaker plates. Cables would run from the tv and each speaker to the receiver.
Additionally, the wall that I want to mount the tv on has the opening of our crawl space, but it is uncovered. I would like to have a door installed on this that matches the rest of the wall. I would love to have that door be push to open rather than having a handle, so it blends in more with the rest of the room.
