"We hired Arctic Sprayfoam Insulation at the last minute to make the house appropriately comfortable for a surgery patient that had just been released. We where looking for Quality of Service, Quality of Life and Value Added Product. In all three departments Arctic Sprayfoam Insulation scored a 5 out of 5 in our ratings. Quality of Service was the professionalism you read about when your grandparents talked about the great department stores of the early 20th century. The cleanup exceeded our expectations. Quality of Life was met with prompt response and time on site (our case was 1000 sq ft completed in less than an hour - note our scenario was straightforward). Arctic Sprayfoam Insulation had to maneuver a three foot clearance throughout the estate without complaint or shortcuts. They mean every nook and cranny. Value Added Product was exceeded with proper professional R-38 insulation, not collapsible chain store material that only lasts a couple years. Overall our VAR was a great investment in our property and health. We rate Arctic Sprayfoam Insulation our Tesla rating (innovative and value retention). We recommend ASI add a generator to their arsenal to overcome older houses without grounded outlets. We WILL be hiring Arctic Sprayfoam Insulation for our other review properties."

"Personable, hard working, kind , honest and knowledgeable as to what service(s) would benefit me the most. Very reliable, and on time for his appointments both for the quote and the installation. The pictures he took in my attic demonstrated the need for duct sealing and hole plugging where the attic re-pipe took place plus the fact the installers had tramped down my insulation to where it wasn't effective. The Pex pipes were on top of the mashed insulation with no protection from the heat & cold. They now sport a nice blanket of insulation with less temperature variation. He prepared baffles and installed insulation in the roof of my screened porch which should make it more enjoyable year round. This is such an economical way to improve this house for my lifetime."

What are the different types of insulation?
There are a few types of home insulation, and they all are made of different materials— most commonly, fiberglass, cellulose, and foam. Insulation includes these materials in the following forms:
- Loose-fill: Also called “blown-in,” loose-fill is sprayed into wall cavities, attics, and other oddly-shaped areas using special equipment. This insulation is usually made of fiberglass, cellulose, or mineral wool.
- Batts: An affordable insulation blanket best for unfinished spaces, such as between framing, studs, or joists. They come in pre-cut sections suitable for DIY installation and are mostly made from fiberglass, though other versions are also available.
- Rolls: Similar to batt insulation, but comes in rolls. Its make-up leaves less chance for gaps between sections and is more efficient than other types.
- Foam board: One of the most popular insulation types that can be used almost anywhere in your home. Foam boards also have a high R-value.
- Spray foam: Expands and hardens to fill gaps, small and large. Can be closed-cell or open-cell, but closed-cell has a higher R-value, making it more expensive per square foot.
- Radiant barriers: Does not reduce heat flow but directs heat away from the home instead. Radiant barriers are DIY-friendly and affordable, but they won’t be as effective in the winter months.
