MedPix® Virtual Grand Rounds Case Studies with Radiology
The purpose of the MedPix® Case Studies - Virtual Grand Rounds with Radiology - is to assist healthcare providers in improving patient care through differential diagnosis of both common and rarely seen diseases. MedPix® provides a rich source of peer-reviewed and proven cases that highlight clinical-radiologic correlation. Each case is presented with a brief history, relevant physical examination, and laboratory values - along with pertinent imaging. After reviewing the case material, there is a brief quiz of 3-5 questions, with reference links to related publications. 1.0 hour AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM are available for every two cases completed (30 minutes/case). The goal is to improve overall competence in establishing a differential diagnosis and correlating imaging observations.
