Fast forward three years later when we plan on doing some work to our house. County tells us our plat is incomplete as it does not have house on it. Tried contacting this company 3 times in span of one week to get original work updated. No reply. Highly unprofessional. If you can't handle basic administrative tasks like calling people back in a prompt manner, you should not be in business. Also, company never explained why the original work was incomplete. Found another surveyor at a reasonable rate who agreed to do job in quick time. Update 3/2014 It is funny how some people stretch the truth and others flat out lie. As we stated in the original review, the surveyor never even responded to 3 calls. Therefore, we never requested any discount, or as he calls it, 'gratis', as we never spoke to anyone there. If people make mistakes, I can deal with that. If people are liars, I can't. Caveat emptor (buyer beware).

The first visit was done within that time frame and the final visit was done within 48 hours after that deadline. I had the formal plat with copies the day after the final visit. NOVA Surveys saved the day! Found out from our contractor six calendar days before renovations were to begin that he needed a plat to obtain the necessary building permits. It went spectacularly well. I am pretty sure I received a call back within a hour and they offered to come out virtually the next business day. We then had days of torrential rain (you can't survey in the rain).
