June Drupal for Nonprofits Chat

We are looking for an additional co-moderator for this group! Reach out to Jess or Johanna to learn more about what's involved.

Our normally scheduled call to chat about all things Drupal and nonprofits will happen TOMORROW, Thursday, June 16 at 1pm ET / 10am PT. (Convert to your local time zone.)

No pre-defined topics on the agenda this month, so join us for an informal chat about anything at the intersection of Drupal and nonprofits. Got something specific on your mind? Feel free to share ahead of time in our collaborative Google doc: https://nten.org/drupal/notes!

All nonprofit Drupal devs and users, regardless of experience level, are always welcome on this call.

This free call is sponsored by NTEN.org and open to everyone.

The project update bot is being refreshed to support Drupal 10 readiness of contributed projects

Drupal.org is refreshing the bot that provides automated deprecated code fixes for Drupal project maintainers, accelerating the process of getting the contrib ecosystem ready for Drupal 10's release.

Honoring and Celebrating our DrupalCon Portland 2022 Scholars

Recently at DrupalCon Portland 2022, I was honored to share space with our amazing scholarship recipients at our Scholarship Breakfast and throughout the rest of the week. This community building felt particularly meaningful, as it was our first year gathering in person again since 2019 and for many of our scholars, it was their first DrupalCon ever!

Evaluating Drupal's Code of Conduct

Over the past couple of years, the Drupal Community Working Group has talked about reviewing and possibly updating the existing Drupal Code of Conduct. The process has had several starts, but mainly due to contributor bandwidth hasn't gained much traction to this point.

As reported in 2019,

Imre Gmelig Meijling joining the Board of Directors

The Drupal Association is proud to announce our newest Board of Directors member, Imre Gmelig Meijling. Imre will serve out the remainder of the term for Pedro Cambra, who resigned from the board in March 2022 after serving 1.5 years of a 2-year term. We're happy Imre is willing to step up and contribute to the Board this year.
