Biography[edit]

Career[edit]

In 2008, Ro teamed up with director Adrian Picardi, producer Don Le, and actor Adrian Zaw to create a low budget web series called “The Resistance” which started off as 4 short online teasers featured on YouTube.[1] Before filming the actual web show, the series was picked up by Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures and Starz Media, after executives at Starz and Ghost House viewed "The Resistance" teasers online. The web show airs on October 4, 2010, on the SyFy channel as a one-hour television pilot along with being released in its original 8 episodic form on iTunes, Xbox Live, and the PlayStation Network. "The Resistance" is Executive Produced by Ben Ketai, Scott Bayless, Scott Rogers, with producers Aaron Lam, Eric Ro, and Associate Producer Don Le.[2] [3] [4] The pilot will reportedly make history, as it's the first time a series created originally for the web will first premiere on television.[5]

In late 2008, Ro teamed up with Picardi and entrepreneur, Scott Bayless, to create a production company based in Downtown Los Angeles, called Northern Five Entertainment. Under Northern Five, he also wrapped producing duties on two more music videos, one for the band Automatic Love Letter[6][7] and Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records, and another for the band Evans Blue.[8]

Currently, Ro and Northern Five Entertainment have 2 feature films in development, alongside production of numerous commercials and music videos to come.
