SAPRO released the Victim Advocacy Initial Skills Assessment Tool to help provide structured observation and feedback to SARCs and SAPR VAs during their initial training. This tool is a way to identify areas of strength, remediation, and growth based on the D-SAACP core competencies
- The tool may be used by course facilitators or instructors during initial SAPR training. Additionally, it may be used by SARCs to support the development of SARCs or SAPR VAs whom they supervise.
- It is not to be used as a replacement for any formal performance assessment and evaluation of SARCs and SAPR VAs.

Self-Paced Educational Programs: Safe Helpline offers a number of unique self-paced modules to help those looking for support or information related to sexual assault. Each module was built with a particular audience in mind, but all modules provide valuable information for anyone looking to learn more about sexual assault, its effects, and the support available. All of the modules can be accessed anonymously and many are also available for D-SAACP credit in the Safe Helpline Education Portal. Learn more here.

DoD and each of the military Services have issued policy to assure compliance with our mission and the rule of military law. DoD Directive 6495.01 establishes the broad policy parameters of the SAPR Program for the Department.
