Medical Education and Training Campus
The Medical Education and Training Campus is the primary training location for Army, Navy and Air Force enlisted medical trainees. The campus also provides advanced level training. With a mission of training the world's finest medics, corpsmen and techs, the Campus was established in 2010 as part of a Base Realignment and Closure Commission decision to co-locate all military enlisted training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The campus maintains an average daily student load of 5,500 students in 48 medical training programs.
