Brennan Center & NYU School of Law

Since its found­ing in 1995, the Bren­nan Center for Justice has benefited from a close rela­tion­ship with the faculty and students of New York Univer­sity School of Law.

NYU Law students often serve as legal interns and work on projects with Bren­nan Center staff through the Law School’s Bren­nan Center Public Policy Advocacy Clinic, a semester-long field­work course taught by Bren­nan Center attor­neys. NYU Law faculty comprise one-third of the Bren­nan Center’s board of direct­ors, and many profess­ors have collab­or­ated with the center in vari­ous capa­cit­ies. The Bren­nan Center also hosts numer­ous sympo­sia, panel discus­sions, and book talks at the law school each year.
