Marketing Department

The Department of Marketing of the University of Alicante organizes and develops teaching and research activity in Marketing and Market Research.

Teaching staff offers specialized teaching on Marketing management and Commercial management in different undergraduate degrees, as Marketing Business AdministrationEconomy , Tourism , Publicity and public relations, as well as joint Undergraduate Degree in Law and Business Administration (DADE), and Tourism and Business Administration (TADE)  and double degree in computer engineering and business administration.

The Department also promotes a high level of quality research, which is reflected in its publications in several journals impact factor, including: Strategic Management JournalInternational Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science,  Tourist Management, Journal of Business ResearchOmega, etc.

This course aims to bring current market research tools closer to newly created technology companies (startups and EBTs) and entrepreneurs. Aimed at understanding the new demands and opportunities, conceptual and applied content from the field of market research will be introduced through real examples in various business sectors with a market intelligence consulting approach. Throughout the course, the teaching staff and the participating organizations (Digimind, sumamoOs, Coto Consulting, LIKERT, Alicante Science Park, Granada University, etc.) will explain the different tools and approaches through which market research can allow companies to companies better understand their environment and their customers in order to make better business decisions. “Marketing y moda: Cómo preparar y difundir tu evento” (20 horas)

Lugar: campus universitario de San Vicente del Raspeig

Fechas: 15, 16, 22 y 23 de julio; viernes de 15:00 a 20:00h y sábados de 9:00 a 15:00h.

 

Durante cuatro sesiones se abordarán los contenidos de un programa centrado en la organización y gestión de los eventos de moda, identificando las acciones de marketing más adecuadas para garantizar el éxito en el lanzamiento y difusión de los mismos. El formato del curso será primordialmente práctico en formato presencial.
