Sir Grout Chicago

Sir Grout was at our house on July 29, 2022. They did a beautiful job. They cleaned and re-grouted the tile in our master bath shower as well as the floor tile in the master and a second bathroom. The primary technician was Eddie, who was assisted on part of the project by Alex. Eddie arrived at the scheduled time. Before he began, he reviewed (with us) the scope of the work he was about to perform. During that review, we decided to add the work in the second bathroom. The office manager, Melissa, is very professional: courteous, responsive and efficient. The cost of the work was “pricey”—for our budget—but we would definitely hire them again.

Wow! What a fantastic job Sir Grout did! Our 30-year-old bathroom floor looks brand new and the removing of old caulk and re-caulking around the tub looks amazing. Yazmine (sorry, I don't know the proper spelling of his name) arrived precisely on time, was friendly, professional and very skilled. He also re-caulked the kitchen counter behind the sink and did a bit of caulking around the floor of our basement bath. He chose excellent colors for all the caulk, which set off the tiles in both baths and the granite in the kitchen. Thank you Sir Grout. Excellent work!

Everyone at Sir Grout is so polite and genial. Ann was very accommodating in scheduling us at a convenient time, and Alex was thoroughly professional, explaining the process thoroughly and clearly, involving me in important decisions as unexpected elements came up during the visit. Our bathrooms look so much better, and Sir Grout is certainly worth the money!

Sir Grout was very responsive to my needs for getting my marble shower cleaned on time, since I was moving out of state, and needed to get my house on the market. The office and tech made sure I knew exactly when he would be there, and he spent the time to make sure the results looked outstanding. The shower was deeply and thoroughly cleaned, and looked outstanding. I am always pleased with the results, and I strongly recommend Sir Grout to anyone who needs regular cleaning of natural stone.

Jason from Sir Grout was amazing! He was able to address all the many issues on my marble bathroom countertop and small marble-topped table. They look like new. Jasim was professional, knowledgeable, great at explaining the process and potential outcomes, and just generally a pleasure to work with. Ours was a big job in terms of square footage and multiple rooms. Our goal was to get the darkened, dirty grout lines looking like they did 20 years ago in addition to deep cleaning the dirt imbedded in the textured surface. Initially, sales manager Ryan Holley came out to size up the job, explain the process and provide an estimate. The job took about seven hours and the team of Eddie (foreman), Andrew, Chase and Juan worked well together. They were professional and accommodating. They gave us several grout color options and shared their opinions on the choices. Eddie and the crew made sure all of our questions were answered. In the end, the appearance of our large floor tiles look much improved. When it appeared that the buffing step was missed in a small bathroom, Ryan made sure we were contacted immediately and his office sent out a tech to complete the job a day later. That's excellent service!

Ryan explained the process clearly and provided a reasonable quote for all the work. Juan, Olin, Eddie and Trey did a careful job with both the quality grout in the shower and the hand-tool cleaning and polishing of the marble. They spent all day and completed the job.

This was an outstanding job from beginning to end. Sir Grout was referred by a friend, and I'm so glad I followed up. Sales Associate Leslie was right on time for our appointment to look at the work that needed to be done. She sent a written estimate, and we scheduled the job for three days later. Anthony arrived exactly on the minute accompanied by Leslie, who stayed the entire time to help him and make sure the job was done satisfactorily. Anthony was very meticulous both in doing the work and cleaning up afterward. They worked for about 6 hours with no breaks. The shower looks brand new, and I couldn't be happier!

Work was well done. Crew arrived early. They were very professional. All shower mold was removed. Floors and counter tops were cleaned well.

Sir grout came out and did an incredibly professional and clean, precise job! I am super happy. They also caulked my sink in the kitchen and I even had to have them come out for additional sealing around my faucets which they did promptly and beautifully. Thank you, so happy!

Overall, relatively well. Technicians were polite, professional, and on time. Time spent during the estimate and questions/answers was much above average. Technicians missed an area which resulted in the need for a "touch up", that resulted in multiple scheduling cancellations. Once the job was completed, everything was satisfactory.

I am extremely pleased with the outcome of having Sir Grout clean and reseal the tile and grout in my bathrooms. The end product looks wonderful. Overall the work was great. Ann arrived on time for the estimate. She was very honest and helpful. She answered all of my questions regarding the work. She also gave me time to make a decision. The technician that came for the work was on time and very courteous. He was very efficient and conscientious. Overall I am very satisfied with the work. My floors look brand new. I also appreciated the detailed care instructions they provided.

The work took about 6 hours. We are very pleased with the outcome. Old grout and clear caulk were cut out, the shower was thoroughly cleaned and finally the grout was refreshed, repaired or replaced. Very good attention to detail. I would recommend this service to others.

I am sorry to report that my experience was disappointing. I received a quote after a very pleasant and informative on-site visit from a company rep. I never thought to question anything on the quote. However, after the job was done, I reviewed the work by going through the itemized estimate and using it as a sort of checklist. Many items simply were not done; some items were done very sloppily; and some areas were treated differently than what was described on the estimate. I invited the rep to come back to review the work -- and to help me understand what work that was done -- and to my dismay, she went totally dark. I sent photos, and I requested many times that she discuss the job with me. NO response. Once I finally connected with a different employee, the communications became strained and awkward. I was respectful throughout, but sadly, it started to feel increasingly like I'd been scammed. To their credit, they reviewed the photos and agreed to send out a new tech to go over the areas that were missed, and the second tech was able to correct many of the obvious issues. But I was never able to go over the quote line-by-line with anyone and I never had all my questions answered. As a result, I cannot be sure that all of the work that was recommended was actually performed -- but I do know that I paid for it! In fact, I was charged an additional $395 over the amount of the estimate and was told by the techs that they could not leave my condo until I paid the total in full and showed them a confirmation of payment. I asked the techs for an explanation of the excess charges as well as an accounting of all of the actual work performed, but I never got it. Additionally, the techs sold me a company-branded cleaner for $50 ... which is sold on their website for $40. Such a disappointing experience.

The first time I used Sir Grout services for my bath tile cleaning and grouting, I was more than pleased with the results. The tile looked brand new. Many years later, the bath tile and grout needed some touch up. Dan and his staff once again did a great job.

Carlos and Eddie just left us with two spectacularly clean, rejuvenated bathrooms! I highly recommend Sir Grout if you are looking to clean and repair tile and give your bathroom a fresh up. Their team was easy to work with schedule. Carlos and Eddie arrived very promptly, provided a very thorough walk through and instructions on how to clean and care for the new epoxy grout and left the rooms spotless. Great work and service!

Worth every dime....and it took a lot of dimes to get this job done! On time, everything looks BRAND SPANKING NEW, and even though Sir Grouts prices are a little high, the workmanship was outstanding. Saved me many hours of back pain in a DIY job that I'm sure would not turned out nearly as well as their product.

The technician, Trey, did an amazing job. Everything was clean and even, and Trey's choice of grout to fix the surround was a perfect match. I'm very pleased and would definitely choose SirGrout again.
