"We selected Continental after interviewing several candidates and they were definitely the right choice. I was concerned about the timing because of all the rain but they were worth waiting for. The house was power washed prior to the job and looked like new before the painting even started. Mark Ernst and his crew applied two coats of paint after making a few minor repairs. They matched the paint very well and were careful around the house. We will definitely call on Continental again for our painting needs.

"I was replacing 30-year-old vertical blinds, so I needed assistance in selecting new window&nbsp;treatment for my living room.&nbsp; The sales representative was very knowledgeable and accommodating.&nbsp; He came to my house again&nbsp;when I ordered the shutters, and I decided on a different color for the shutters at that time, so I was glad the&nbsp;transaction&nbsp;was done in person, not over the phone.&nbsp; He estimated that the shutters would take about 10 weeks to be built, and they were right on time.&nbsp; Installation was done quickly and efficiently.&nbsp; The shutters look great!&nbsp; The only negative feedback I have&nbsp;is that the patch job on the wall above the shutters where the old blinds had been removed was quite thick, so it took some work on my part to sand the patch down before it could be painted.&nbsp; Otherwise, I was pleased with all aspects of the project. <br />

"Very well. Brock came out and evaluated the problem: water leaking out of front porch columns. He identified rot around the top column bases. He generated a proposal of roofing replacement, column base replacement (part of front dormer), stucco replacement, and painting. The crews showed up a few weeks later (as agreed) and had part of the roofing, near the problem removed, and the rotten wood at the top column bases removed all on the first day. Second day the roof decking was repaired and shingles replaced, new top column bases constructed and installed. The third day stucco was installed and allowed to dry for a week. Finally all affected stucco areas were caulked and painted to a perfect match of existing area not repaired.

"Dean Alfonsi is truly a professional and the work could not have turned about any better! About 6 months ago, we hired Dean to put down new floors and paint. Now, 6 months later, we just finished our second major project with him - a kitchen remodel. Everything turned out just beautifully and we are so happy with the work! I honestly couldn't even list all the little things he took care of throughout our projects. There are too many. One example: Dean fixed two holes I put in the walls trying to hang heavy metal artwork. He patched up my mess, then hung the pieces correctly. He's a handy guy to have around. Our kitchen is beautiful and has LOTS of extras. Our friends keep ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the organizational features, the workmanship, and just how gorgeous it all turned out. Dean either does the work or oversees the work. It was really nice because HE handles everything AND you can trust him to do great work, take care of your home and watch out for your pets. He worked with the cabinet company, hired the electrician and plumber, put up the cabinets and tile. He has help - he gets the right person to assist him so that the job turns out perfectly. One of the best outcomes for us is that we have someone we can call ANYTIME we have a project in our home. We know the price will be fair, the interaction will be seamless, and the work will be professional. Dean is very particular. If something isn't just right, he points it out and lets you know he's going to fix it. He doesn't wait for you to find it. He looks for it on his own. We had a couple very minor things that Dean redid - things I didn't even notice. He'll paint something as many times as needed so it's right, even if you have one wildly difficult room requiring extra love and attention. (Thanks for dealing with our dark purple room, Dean! LOL) Another really great thing about Alfonsi Construction is Dean does it how YOU want it. He'll give his opinion if asked and offers his professional advice as needed. He communicated with us throughout the project to clarify and to be certain that things were done exactly as we wanted. Speaking of communication, between Dean and his wife, they are ON TOP of it! Finally, a big shout out goes to his wife, Suzanne, who gets all the projects up and running and offers help along the way. And another shout out to Ed, who was often here working with Dean side by side. They are a great team and as soon as we can, we'll have them back for our next project - the bathrooms!

"Mike and Mark completed a full bathroom remodel. My existing master bath was taken down to the studs and a full new bath was built. The work included: floor to ceiling shower tile work including accent tiles with a niche, installation of river rock shower floor, installation of a 5 setting shower head with 2 body sprayers and necessary plumbing, installation of bathroom sink fixtures with necessary plumbing, full floor tiling, new recessed medicine cabinet, new bluetooth enabled exhaust fan, new insulation, new Einstein lightning fixture, towel and tissue holder and painting of walls and ceiling. The bathroom turned out to be amazing. The labor cost was less than $7000. That did not include materials - I purchased those over the last 2 years. Mike and Mark were extremely thorough with their work. If they had a question about placement or design, they would stop and ask me what I wanted before continuing. They always made sure to clean up before leaving for the day. They protected my furniture and made sure not to damage any of the accessories in my home. Have worked with Deep South several times and would hire them again.
