Chicago Garage Door Painting

Great! We hired this service twice and they did a fantastic job painting. Painting was near perfect and they were extremely neat - no paint dots anywhere. They also cleaned up after all was done. This is a very honest & reliable service and we will definitely hire them again. Do not hesitate.

Service was excellent. Work looks beautiful and he finished a lot sooner than I expected. I also needed a wall patched and it looks like new. They protected all my things and were very professional. I am hiring this company again.

It went very well. Clean and professional. I have since called them to paint my condo but they won't travel this far.

The place needed paint so bad, everything now looks so clean. Glad we were able to work very quickly and informally. Did drywall repair and painted doors and trim.

I posted a request to re-paint my garage. Geovanny was very responsive and came out to give an estimate the same day. His price was reasonable, so I hired him on the spot and he started the very next day. He showed up on time with the paint colors I chose and knocked it out in one day. He did a nice job, so I hired him for an additional project to paint a back stairwell. This project was considerably larger, but he was able to complete the project in a short time at a reasonable price.

Very efficient and on TIME- which was an extra plus for me. Very knowledgeable about paint; room looks completely new. We highly recommend and plan to use them again for summer interior and exterior painting.

They worked without a break and finished early. Rather than leaving, they asked if there was other painting I might want. I scurried around and found 4 or 5 minor painting jobs in areas which I had not noticed beforehand. They eagerly tackled these jobs. I am completely satisfied with their job as was the rest of my family. The two painters were not only nice but they said they enjoyed their work .

I had 3 estimates and Mr Handyman was in the middle price wise. Based on Angie List reviews and interactions with Mr Handyman (MH) I elected MH for the job. I have a 1920 garage and it still has the original siding. The garage probably has a few years left on it based on the siding condition, but MH promised they could work some magic. Bill exceeded my expectations on the garage. This truly was a case of maximizing all of Bill's painting skills to get the garage look so great. Also, I appreciate Wayne the owner taking the time to come out to my house to discuss some special concerns I had prior to the garage being painted. He put me at ease that everything would turn out as promised. As I told him in a personal email most companies would have dismissed my concerns and go about the job the way the company thought best , but not my approach, Thus, I would definetly use MH again due to their superior work, personal approach, and commitment to client satisfaction.

These guys transformed our super poorly plastered and painted room into a thing of beauty! Stunning, fast and fair. Highly Recommended!

It went well. I met with Tim and his wife to discuss what I wanted done and told him I was needing to wait until the garage floor was completed. He gave me his business card and told me to call him once the floor was complete and he also told me that I could use his contractors discount to purchase my paint. He had the ceiling paint that he allowed me to purchase off of him as he buys in bulk and it's cheaper; therefore, he was able to pass those savings on to me. Tim and Rick work well together and like to sing along with the tunes on the radio :)) Job well done guys!!!!

Would definitely have them work on our home again. They cleaned up after themselves and left us with two beautifully painted rooms!

It went very well. We had them in the first time in a hurry because we had just moved in, and wanted some painting done before the movers came. Then we had them come back when we realized they did a great job, and we had a few extra closets that needed painting. They were very reasonable, they worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and we have no complaints. I'd use them again for a painting job.

This work was performed 2 years ago . The workers arrived promptly ( for 3 days). They cleaned up before they left each day. The paint job still looks good. In hindsight they were a little pricey, but did a good job.

I decided to go with Elite because the gentleman who came out, Mike, was very professional, fair and knowledgable. We have an old garage that needed quite a bit of repairing before painting could commence. Mike submitted a quote on a very timely manner and outlined the carpentry work that would be required. On the day of the job, the carpenders came out and assessed the work. I spoke with them on site and gave them the okay to do a little over and above what the quote outlined. I have to say that the carpenters were excellent. They really did a fabulous job of reframing our garage windows, installing a new entry door and replaced the soffits and gutters. I have no complaints about the quality of their work as it was top notch. I cannot say the same about the painting portion of the job. While the painters were friendly, their work was less than satisfactory. I was originally told it would be a two day paint job. At the end of the first day, the painter called me out to do a walk through. I noticed that the overhead garage door was not repaired before applying the paint and there were large holes that they just painted over. They also painted over our stick on address numbers (as we have an alley, Chicago style, as opposed to a driveway). I felt they were very rushed and didn't do the necessary repairing or preparing of the overhead garage door service before painting. The painter at that point called Mike and was advised he would have to come back out and fix it. The painter said he wasn't told he needed to putty in the holes before painting. I found this to be an unacceptable excuse, as even I know when you paint, you have to prepare/spackle the holes first. Overall the paint job is amateur at best. They did not use any tape when painting and it is very noticable where the siding meets the trim. It's just very sloppy. I was hoping to be able to use them to do some of the exterior work on the front of my Victorian home, but given the sloppiness of the garage, I can't trust them with something like my actual house. Mike followed up, and I did tell him about my satisfaction with the carpentry elements of the job but also told him about my displeasure with the quality (or lack thereof) of the painting portion. He apologized and said he was happy to get the feedback and would be coming out to take some photos and inspect the work. I never did hear back after that or was offerred any type of discount. I ended up paying extra for some of the carpentry which was not a problem; however, I think there should have been something knocked off the amateur paint job, especially the edging. I could have hired a bunch of college kids if I didn't want straight edges/lines. In the end, I think that Elite would be better served if they ensured their contract painters were of a higher caliber, something they clearly do for their carpenters. This was a clear case of the Elite rep not matching up with the Elite workers.

Chad is great to work with. Very professional and friendly. The services they provided is excellent. Paint the garage, paint the house trims, and powerwash the sidings. They made us feel at ease and that the project would be done.
