Energy Management Program Service IconThe Energy, Environment, & Fleet (EEF) Program Service objectives include:

  • achieving cost savings,
  • upgrading energy and water infrastructure,
  • improving VA fleet efficiency and effectiveness, and
  • complying with regulations.

Signed document iconVA’s Enhanced-Use Lease (EUL) program allows VA to manage underutilized property through leasing arrangements with state or local governments or private sector organizations. Title 38, U.S.C. Section 8161-8169, Enhanced-Use Leases of Real Property, authorizes VA to lease real property under VA’s control or jurisdiction to other public and private entities on a long-term basis (up to 75 years for most properties) only for the provision of supportive housing.
