what’s the ideal humidity % for MSC? was it 30% and under?
got nothing but 50-70% humidity days coming up and i’m dyyyyying to get some heads sealed :-/

Just got back from getting the omnicron vaccine (and flu shot while i was at it) so I’m feeling a little pooped to lug MSC stuff downstairs at the moment… but maybe in an hour or so….
Tho, as per my typical ADHD experience, I’m now thinking about jumping into an adjacent project of building a rig/stand for spraying doll heads instead of just sealing the one specific head I wanna face-up.
….yeah I might go ahead and make the rig, having one would make things a lot easier….

I realized I don’t need to account for a stringing channel when needle felting bjd parts. >:3c It’s literally fabric, you just sew where you want the elastic cord to go.
Which would have made the needle felted bjd mermaid SO much easier if I’d discovered that earlier lmaoooo

Oddbody Furby Buddy: Resplenda Toxicity Not-to-be-taken
Porch pirates nabbed my cat food order in broad daylight this morning, so I’ve been in a weird headspace all day. Which I guess was the push I needed to cobble together a body for this resin custom cast Furby Buddy faceplate I bought from @walrus-furbs a few years ago.
Her name is Resplenda Toxicity Not-to-be-taken, Toxi for short. She eats porch pirates and is made from faux fur scraps, a dollar tree unicorn costume tail, a bit of loc-line armature and scrap Barbie limbs I’ve been using to test various paints and pigments on. I gave the faceplate a very basic faceup a few months ago and then forgot about it until today.
She’s pretty rough, since I was eyeballing the Furby Buddy pattern and freehanding it, but I love how she came out anyhow.
TL:DR to my previous post – I really want to get Punchy Ghaleon’s head 3d scanned so I can play around with making him look more canon-accurate chin-wise…
but uh idk anything about 3d scanning or 3d modeling. :T where do I start???? anyone have any recommendations or pointers?
