Nice addition. However, this is the English wikipedia and the Anglicized version of the name is most appropriate. It would also be better to name the article Ganges River in order to follow namming conventions for rivers. I will come back later to fix this if it is not done by somebody else. Cheers! --maveric149
As long as this doesn't force people to use the anglicised name everytime it is mentioned, it's OK. When used with the names of other rivers in India, the name Ganga fits in better than the name Ganges. --Hari
I don't have a problem with the use to the word Ganga - so long as it is always introduced as being the Ganges river. Therefore, in easch article that is partly about this river needs to have at least some instance of the term Ganges river - and this is the instance that should be linked. --maveric149, Saturday, April 6, 2002
